Well thought out wordplay from A-1...that technic is not that easy especially when your actually walking the listener through a story and still make it simple enough to follow without getting lost...this is what mainstream hip hop is missing.

This was the first time I heard all 4 of these guys. JT had me hooked the second he started his verse, and he is still one of my favorite artists of all time, to this day. A-1 is definitely unique, in a good way! Whenever I'm in the mood to analyze bars, he's typically one of the first artists I turn to. Every song that I've heard thus far tackles fairly common topics, in such an intriguing way. Really an interesting character, very knowledgeable. And Acie and Priceless, well... I'm pretty sure most will agree - they are in an entire league of their own. I'm hella salty with TBP here lately because of their incessant privatizing, but in the end I will always have mad respect for them for introducing me to tons of brilliant artists. I mean... JT, Catalyst, Porter, Godemis, Kaj, Gigs, Mykel, etc etc... I think they split off sometime in early ‘18, something happened between hopsins record label which effected the whole of team backpack I think. Not too sure, I was like 14-15 when these came out, kinda hard to remember the story between empire, funk volume, and ruthless records. But it’s kinda sad because ruthless was destroyed by it and it was one of the og labels
