Considering how close this game was, I think we can say that the first big Hussar raid by Xardas (red) won the game, where Hera lost like 20~30 villagers. Hard to notice that when fighting all around the center at the same time against multiple players, so it just goes to show: don't rely on garrisoning town centers to defend your eco in Imperial! Even if you only get palisades, wall your base. Hussars can break it, but since units don't auto-attack walls, your enemy has to click on the wall each time they get in, and you only have to repair a small section of wall. The warning you get gives you more time to react than a warning from hussars attacking farmers. Trebuchets would actually be a good way to counter the scorpions: as long as you have walls around them. Having to keep a big mass of halberdiers in front of your trebuchets, in case enemy pushes with pikemen or tries to snipe with cavalry, is a loss when you're down 600 pop. Trebuchets can shoot at enemy trebs attacking the castle and can also shoot scorpions that get close. You should think of any time one of your trebuchets gets hit by a melee unit as a loss: a trebuchet is 400 resources; a palisade wall is 3 wood and has more HP than the trebuchet.

i don't know if you read my advice under the previous video of adding 1 low elo player to your team but i am happy to see that i had the right intuition. the game is much better like this.

Nice game Hera, but i think that if u stone wall ur base then the raids from red player would'nt have done that much damage ... but its still a hard game to win

Hera's First defense against scouts from 3 players was insane :) Overall amazing game. At end it was just overwhelming army from opponents and good mix of units.

At @31:00 only one of the four trebs attacked the castle while the other three didn't (bu later one joined the active treb in attacking the TC). Not sure if bug or a misclick

I play a lot of Team Games as Cumans and i think if you had gone Steppe Lancers immediately in Castle Age and played to wipe them out quickly you would have won

With 200 pop cap you have to do earlier damage to their eco. If they can build up you cant compete once they have 800 pop.

Am I the only one that screamed at Hera the whole game that he had 2 relics in his base and he never tried picking them up? Over the whole game those were a couple gold stacks that he could have got for nothing.

Answer to the twitch chat, Meta i think means that. A player to their knowledge uses every best possible mechanic in the game to their advantage. What ever it may be. For example COD has meta weapons every season which are the best at the time. When u use them u are meta gaming.
