I’ve been a collector for many years and now starting to dabble in the selling side of things. I love the tips and knowledge you spread. Thank you and looking forward to more.
This has me yearning to get into my china cabinet and see exactly what teapots I actually inherited from my Mom along with her tea cups and saucers. ✨️🐿
@@TheNurseFlipper Right now our super heavy x-tall wood dining room table is pushed up against the china cabinet. I'll get Mr. Shiny Squirrel to move it this weekend. I'll be transitioning my work area from the livingroom down to the basement (converted living area) to be my office/warehouse. When I get my settlement from my accident I think I'm buying a shed!
Wait.... who likes purple! says the lady with a shade of hair to claim her own So Kat no wonder you also love the tea pots and such with violets, lilacs anything purple. And why not it's all beautiful. I love most all of them! Thanks so much Kat.
Kat how do I contact you for help with a vase? I can't find it on eBay, Google lens or worthpoint, or replacements. I would be so grateful for your help and knowledge!!!
Ingot excited when you said Franz.. thought mine might be shown, lol. I recently sold a butterfly Franze teapot for 125, and it sold very quickly. Ended up going Global Shipping back to China. Thanks for another helpful research video.
I’m watching after..the only reason the fiesta teapot sold high was the lilac color..it’s newer fiesta. The original fiesta color that sells well is medium green..
Hi. I've been watching your videos and have been learning a lot. I am a part time reseller of clothing and shoes. Because of you videos, you inspired me to start picking up outside of my comfort zone. Can you do a video of how to pack these teapots? My mom collects perfume glass containers. Can you do a video if there are any profit on reselling those as well? thank you so much. Sarah
Thank you for all the informative videos! Question-I don’t understand something I’ve heard on other RU-vidrs channels: “end listings that have been on for a while and then re-list as sell similar’. Is this something I should do on a regular basis? Seems like that would take time away from putting on brand new listings. Someone I know that sells on eBay‘rotates’ her stock every two months. She sells jewelry. I’ve been watching lots of videos to try to learn how to sell on eBay. I appreciate all the knowledge you share with everyone!
10:97 So question sort of like a statement but that pink teapot has $70 for shipping does that seem a little bit off people still agree to pay for that
Thank you for doing this type of educational video. In December at Goodwill I saw a Fitz & Floyd Turkey teapot. I immediately grabbed it because from watching your video I knew it was worth something. I paid $13 for it and accepted an offer of $150. That same day I also picked up another teapot for $7.99 and sold it for $75. The Turkey teapot is not something I would have picked up if it weren't for your videos. THANK YOU
I’ve been antiquing for a short time, mostly looking and finding myself amazed at the beauty of items. Teapots have taken my interest. Love watching you!!!! Your videos are so interesting and I’m learning so much!
I have a great collection of tea pots, hence those videos are extremely helpful Thanks for sharing your knowledge. P s LOVE, LOVE the little boy( yours) . He is a handful awesome boy!
When I buy, I look for shipping. One strand of beads for 40.00, had a shipping price of 20.00, no way would I buy it. You can lose your ass on shipping. Look for free first!!
Hey do you ever watch Dr Lori?. Shes a great person to watch to learn as well. Im not promoting but check her out. Maybe you could do appraisals on things for people on a website or something. Seems like youve seen alot and can at least pinpoint an estimation.
The Radko Dapper Hare pot should be stamped/embossed with the Radko 9 point star and the name Radko. His more expensive pieces are stamped and the lower value pieces like the traditions, it’s Christmas and splendor lines usually just have a sticker.
thanks & great job; I watched another RU-vid creator's video & she mentioned your paperweight video; your research videos are gaining popularity. have a great day.
Kat I am so glad I found your channel. I am wondering if you have seen any "Whistle For Your Milk" cups? You have so much knowledge about so man things. I have a collection of ceramic teddy bears I use to have out for display but got tired of looking at them is there a market for things like this. They are all tiny with the largest being maybe 4 inches. I also have about 25 pieces of childrens depression dishes very small I loved them so much because they are so small is there a market for this? I know you are busy but please let me know about the markets. I am getting old and have 2 boys that are not interested in any of the things I have
I haven''t ever heard of them (the whistle cups) As far as the bears it will depend on if they're branded. I recommend searching ebay for your exact item and filter to sold/completed to see if they're selling and for what.
@@TheNurseFlipper Thanks Kat I love love your channel. You know so much about all this items and you give such great info on what to look for. Keep up the videos and I will definately keep watching
I would appreciate that .I'm always draw to the art when in thrife stores although I have sold any. I would like to however I'm not confident with the process 🤫
Had to share with you. After seeing many of your research videos had a heightened awareness of that telltale black white checkerboard pattern usually indicating Mackenzie Childs. Went to a silent auction at a local antique mall and spotted oodles of Mackenzie Childs items from bathroom rugs and bathroom accessories to holiday decor items to a 4 foot double topiary. I won them all! Paid $150 for 17 items. I am thinking probably resell for $800-$1000!!! Thank you thank you thank you! I am going to try to attach a few pics if I can
Hello- congrats on being over 40 k and thank you so much for all your helpful info , I have a question if you have a minute. I know your super busy- I got some glasses to possibly resell and there’s a gold design around the top but I can’t find the exact match online. , any ideas of a reseller on RU-vid that maybe could take a look at a photo from me to identify the maker? ( maybe you’d recognize them) Just thought I’d ask keep up the good work! God bless
Your info videos are THE BEST! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!! I have been binge watching and feel that I have so much more knowledge while out thrifting. I really appreciate you and your videos.
Kat, I have so enjoyed your videos and I am learning so much from you. I love Victorian and I have booths in an antique mall. I got run over by accident and had two surgeries so I can’t get out like I did. I love teacups and teapots and all relating to Victorian. I would love to have you help me? I think you said $9.99 a month. My name is Vicky and I live in Saltillo, MS. Please let me know if you can help me.
Thank you for your series of valuable Teapots and Teacups videos… because of you, I checked out the “solds” for teapots when I was looking at a teapot/creamer/sugar set that was selling on an online auction… so with the help of your education I bid a little higher and won (at a very reasonable reseller-purchase-price)… so now comes the fun part of picking it up and a bit more research to then see how it will do (as a set, or split up) … thank you for the education!
Wow!!! You found some really cool stuff!!! Thank you for sharing the information!! It makes me want to go out right away and start treasure teapot hunting!!! ;)
Dang. That Zimbabwe tea pot was actually really cool. The way the artist painted it gave the zebra a really 3D look. That's the type of thing I would buy on a gut feeling without researching....for a reasonable price of course. Sometimes I think if I think it's Uber cool other people will also. Very nice!
