"Teardown" is an appropriate title. You f**king wrecked it! The small "rivets" on the bottom are actually screws and the key to disassembly. If long nose pliers won't grip them, cut a slot in the head with a Dremel blade and unscrew. The rest is easy.
I would hate you to be my mechanic. The first thing u needed to do was use pointy nosed pliers to remove the 6 elliptical head screws (3 on either side of the base). this video should read. How to completely F....up a coffee machine (just for a laugh). I mean it is laughable!!!
