This channel need more subs! I wonder if my Acome 65W GaN charger will have the same components, from the port location and size it looks very similar to this.
Ugreen has the smallest 100w 4port charger I've seen, similar to the anker chargers you've featured in your other video. Would love to see a tear down of that!
Thanks for the teardown. Couple months after using the charger (some older generation) the middle port stopped working. Today I managed to repair it, contacts were broken on the small riser board so I used small wire to reconnect them. It's a poor design that charging port sits on tiny riser board which is held by only 6 solder joints close to each other. The other USB-C board is much sturdier.
Same with my , stopped working middle usb c port , continuously give impulse to charge and stop again charging and stop , and also usb A has some pins broken i think , when i pushed the charging cable sideways is working if i leave it free is not charging . So from 3 port only one is working properly now . I want to fix it but i’m not sure if i can managed to do that without destroying it completely ☹️ Anyway is made of poor quality this charger..
I found 1 but only with US plug the USB-A port is faster on the 3 30w vs 60w Gan3 pro: 4.5V=5A, 5V=4.5A, 9V=3A, 12V=3A, 15=3A, 20V=3A Max. Gan2 pro: 4.5V=5A, 5V=4.5A, 9V=3A, 12V=2.5A, 20V=1.5A Max The color of the usb-c ports are orange on the 3 instead of black and its a little shorter 63.5mm vs 75mm and a bit lighter
Is it worth having a look inside the transformer to check if they have been competently made? After all who wants mains voltage appearing at the output.
The LED indicator is a nice touch but again cheap Chinese caps, Taiwanese and Japanese are only acceptable ones because these are only rated for 2000hours as per the datasheet.
so.. what's the difference with the very first gen with this one apart from bigger primary caps (110u vs 132u) and slightly more efficient mosfet?. switching frequency is more likely similar since reference board from GaNSystems ran up to 180kHz with NCP1342
Great channel, instant sub.. Hopefully you can include more product teardown like surge protector, brands include APC, Belkin etc. And include rating on the similar product and which one worth the buy. Looking forward for more content!.
Please note that this puts out a lot of heat when used at or near 65W. There is zero room for heat dissipation and only expels heat from the outer shell after the core gets overheated. Capacitors and solder joints don't do well with extreme heat. Portable is good but not at the cost of component failure.
I have a second gen and that led indicator can be kinda annoying, not an issue if you're not sleeping next to it but could be a deal breaker if you care about this stuff. Putting tape on it is just stupid so nah
The teardowns only show what components are inside which is totally jargon. Doesn’t say if the components are of good quality or not so it’s totally useless for us consumers. Baseus makes the worst products. My charger failed right out of the box, with one port not being able to charge. A cable that I bought from them failed as well. A cable tidy that I bought from them broke within days.
Which charger brand u recommend please mention a list in order of priority Actually I want to buy a future proof charger !! Presently i need it for iPhone 12. There are so many brands like Apple, Anker, Belkin, Baseus and Xiaomi etc but since I don’t know whats the difference in internal component quality so can’t decide between getting a cheaper one or expensive one.. so can u guide please
Could I plug in this Baseus Gan3 charger to wall socket 24/7? I have samsung old chargers 25w and 45w, they are all working good and always plug in wall socket 24/7 up to now 4 years plus.
Does anyone know if the version of this with 2 AC outlets safely works with 240V, so long as you only plug in dual-voltage low power devices that can handle 240V into its AC outlets? Baseus says that you can't but I don't see why not, and suspect that it's just legal CYA to protect from being sued by people who tried to plug in 125V-only and/or high power devices into the AC outlets in 240V countries.
On C2 port A33 charges faster when in use (around 10-12W. On C1 charging goes to basically 0. When not in active use C1 and C2 charges the same power (max 25W). C2 seems to work better with my device.
Had this for 11 months to power my Mac air and charge my iPhone and apple watch. Was good while it lasted as it was really portable until 1 USB c port shorted and caused the unit to heat up to 70C even without any cable attached.
Something worries me, I used a voltage test key on the end of the Baseus 25w Charger cable and the light came on. Does anyone know if this is normal or explain?
It's the ChargerLAB POWER-Z KT002, you can buy it here: amzn.to/3yjhUEv And also, here is the unboxing video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-esbIZ6MlHwQ.html
Mine completely died after 1month + of use. Baseus was insincere with their warrenty resolution. They offered a voucher for me to repurchase ($20 with $45 min. spend), where I paid 30 for the charger. Either that or I had to send the product back to China at my own cost which is obviously nonviable. At the end, I got Lazada to issue a refund superseding the seller.
Which charger is good for charging infinix x1 book laptop , the genuine charger is lost , it was 65 watt c to c type. Kindly reply. I am very worried regarding
Could you cover the Minix chargers? I've ordered 2 of them and they work well. Though I recommended it to someone else who had their charger break in a week.
@@elhussin5687 I don't have an equipment to measure the exact amounts of Watts its outputting. But I have used it close to an year now without any problem in performance. One time I plugged in the M1 MacBook, Camera battery charger, Flashlight and the tablet all at once, but did not see any difference in charging times. 🙂
I'm a little confused in the us baseus webpage they only have the 65w GaN2 Pro. I went thru Amazon US looking for this third gen GaN3 pro could only find the new one that is corded. Where did you purchase this model?
Hello, I have a question, when I use three ports the specifications says the out energy is (45w + 15w), what that's mean? It´s mean that deliver C1=45w + C2=15w + USB A=15w Or it's mean that the last 15w are sharing between C2 and UBS A And if the last is true, how much energy deliver C2 and USB A specifically in the moment when the three ports are connected?
The last sequence is true. 15w are sharing between c2 and usb. Probably 7.5w each port. The 1st sequence cant be, because 65w is the max. 45w+15w+15w = 75w. ❌
Здравствуйте! Можете ответить на вопрос...может этот зарядное устройство заряжать телефон Samsung s21 и какая максимальная мощность для этого телефона будет? Заранее спасибо!
