This phone is a friggin' nightmare to work on, especially putting it back together with all the buttons on the sides, top and bottom. lol

All of the ribbon cables you pulled out wouldn’t be so hard if you used the pressure level that is on every single one, you know, the plastic part that hinges up and down

I noticed on mine the back plate partially popped off when I dropped it so do you know if it's still water proof if I just pressed it back on?

Thanks you for the video! You are very good and fast! You help a lot of people.Please after you close it back again, if you want it to be still water proof what adhesive/gasket you would apply? Thanks KYOCERA puts something like silicone that leaves a thin line between 2parts right? What you would use to be still waterproof?

Helpful video. I need to remove the cameras. Would have helped more if you had the phone in the camera and play the video at normal speed. Half of the tear-down seems to be out of the camera view.

Thank you for making this video! My microphone failed, and doesn't work at all. Speakerphone works fine. I've taken the phone apart just like you did (THANK YOU!!!), but can't figure out where the microphone is, or how it connects to the main circuit board. I've been hoping to simply replace the microphone, but I can't figure it out. :-(

I have the same phone, people say my voice is muffled when use it normally but speakerphone works fine. Bad mic, dirty ? Would I have to break it down as far you did? Or can it be unclipped once you remove top & bottom cover plates? Thx for your time any info on the matter is appreciated.

When ever I disassemble anything first I remove all possible screws.. seems like a very simple device to repair

Thank you SO much for making this video. I repair phones for a living and haven’t come across this phone yet, but my father has one and his ear speaker is out. Your video has kept me from going in it blind. Yours is the only resource I could find that actually details a full tear down of the Kyocera Duraforce pro. you’re the best!
