Tearing apart blown Chevy rear-end  

This Chevy truck has the G80 gov-lock, limited slip differential. These LSD systems are highly prone to failure. When they fail, they typically break spider gears or crack the carrier. In this video I disassemble the differential to get it ready for an overhaul. Often these differentials can be challenging to disassemble due to the fact that most of the components are damaged or distorted.
