First ever show of the 2023 North American tour of Tears For Fears, Hard Rock Live Etess Arena, Atlantic City, New Jersey, 23 June 2023 #TearsForFears #HardRockAtlanticCity #HardRockLive #EtessArena
Thank you for recording, I saw them Monday at MSG. Such an incredible performance. MSG never felt so intimate, I’ve been to more concerts than I can count and this was my all time favorite. TFF takes me back to being a kid when my sister was dying of cancer and my parents would play them a lot. I think I cried most of the concert, it was a really healing experience. I hope everyone has as much of a wonderful time as I did during the rest of the tour. Music is healing and brings us together ❤❤
you are most welcome :) so sorry to hear about your sister, it must've been a bittersweet nostalgia for you listening to TFF live, but i agree, music, like time, heals all wounds :) cheers to more music & memories!
Amazing tears for fears …I rather pay to see these artists than any other current so called singers of this ERA . Worth my money to see any other 80s artists than the 2023 so called singers .
Saw them in Toronto on Thursday night. Badman Song was my fave - although the 1st song that they did in the encore was a full-on version of Radiohead’s “Creep”!
we love the 80s-90s bands and look forward to seeing them more ;) thanks, while we still can, why not make the most of the life we're given, it's the only one we got! cheers from nyc!
Same them tonight in Raleigh NC.........and while I was a little dissapointed they did not play Year of the Knife, I understand, it is so demanding and there are so many parts that need to be in place.... BUT, as a band, they did not dissapoint me even a little bit... I have waited close to 40 years to see them and am grateful I got to!!!!!! They were off the hook fabulous....
i guess, this is recorded with equipment that we can hold in our hand. Of course the result can´t be that powerful. And i bet if we had been in place, it had sound a bit different.. 😉
@@sebastianmatz2828 true, the concert organizers only allow cellphones into the arena, otherwise people would be bringing cutting-edge dslr cameras to record shows, and i agree, nothing compares to seeing the performances live ;) cheers!

Believe me they have plenty of energy live... This recording is appreciated but just get do them justice... You must see and hear live and in person
No they just rented it Pink Floyd not only was a bamd they own the largest company and equipment for rent in the music bussiness lasers screens sound systems Pas consoles lights robotics etc i was once lucky to have a chat at an airport with David Guillmour just for info Jerry
Wish they'd have had a bigger lineup. One backup singer? They need something more like in the video to 'Badman's Song.' Roland can't be the only stage presence, it's not the same.
so true, couldnt agree with u more, they have at least 2 songs that could get some kind of soul-gospel treatment, which will need more than just one backup singer ;)
really good question :) couldnt control the crowd around me so unacceptably intrusive conversations/noises and visual blocks have to be cut off, i know i was a bit fazed by them myself hehehe :) cheers
just looked it up, here it is: No Small Thing / The Tipping Point / Everybody Wants to Rule the World / Secret World / Sowing the Seeds of Love / Long, Long, Long Time / Break the Man / My Demons / Rivers of Mercy / Mad World / Suffer the Children / Woman in Chains / Badman's Song / Pale Shelter / Break It Down Again / Head Over Heels / Broken / End of Night / Change / Shout ... cheers!
i know, right? i don't mind people singing along, even if they're out of tune, but loud talking can be off-putting when you just want to listen to the music. dunno which is worse, that or the loud guy behind me "singing" the instruments part during the song interludes HAHA
Curt sounds just so-so. A little weak and often sang off-key. But Roland… holy hell, he’s still got that unique, powerful voice!! His “Sowing the Seeds” performance sounded like the original! ❤️
I noticed that as well and I wonder if it’s at least partly because Roland’s voice is lower? Higher notes are harder to hit when you get older and I’ve heard older male singers who sound great until they try to hit a higher note that they could when they were young (like a Paul McCartney performance I saw on tv)
@@Kyle_The_Mighty i suppose it depends on the artist, omd ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AgA1aGcCuDo.html can still do the highs, and so can the cure ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_nkoXEE0bpk.html
Curt to be honest hasn't really performed much in years, since the late 80's if we're truly being honest, he became a hermit. Roland however has been going strong for decades live.
Why "Suffer the children" in such a ...sorry ...but... boring version? It's such a great up- tempo song and they got this wonderful "Woman in chains"! Sometimes I cant understand the decisions of the artists.But...o.k. ..who am I ..??? :*0) Dd
@@armanikolas Absolutely right. And they have the right to do whatever they want...but ....sometimes I think ...similar to depeche Mode: Why do they this great song in guitar/acoustic version? Cheers from Daddydarko ... Duisburg/Northrine-Westfalia/Germany too! :0)
funny you should mention it, the family behind me were all singing out of tune and even "humming" the song interludes :) i prefer my video to be clean but sadly i cant control the other viewers around me, and no, the voices you hear are not mine
