About Chase Eagleson:
Chase Eagleson is best known for his work on his RU-vid channel covering popular songs in an acoustic style and performing original music. Many of these videos also feature his sister and fellow musician, Sierra Eagleson. Chase took formal guitar and drum lessons in his early teens for a couple years, but eventually continued self-teaching new instruments, singing and music production. Chase Eagleson produces most of his content, from official music releases to his RU-vid videos, from his home studio he has built over the years. I'm so glad I ran across this version of "Mad World" by Chase. Between 2009 and 2014, I would put this song on repeat in my iPod - playing it over and over and over for two hours or so while I was working out at Ansley Mall's LA Fitness in Midtown Atlanta. They were the four darkest years of my life, but somehow that song was one of the things that kept me on this earth - so I could listen to it. Even at night, I would do the same - have it on repeat until morning. I never got tired of listening to it. For whatever reason(s), of which I'm not really sure of even to this day - this song gave me an inkling of hope that had thinned into a fine mist. There are periods in our lives that so many of us go through the darkness - of one shade or another looking for the light. This song was my light. Chase's version is as beautiful as he is. Gary and his voice are gifts to this mad world in which we live. An amazing talent.

Chase Eagleson You beautiful soul...I randomly stumbled on your "Wicked Games" cover when I was looking for the original and I was BLOWN AWAY by your voice. Talent! Besides that, you basically covered all of my favorite songs haha "Fix You", "Creep", and of course "Mad World" as well. Music is everything to me, that's why Chester's death from Linkin Park still has me a little broken inside. He was such a beast, the pain in his voice was genuine, the irony in which his pain helped my depression...:/ well, I hear pieces of your own soul in the music you sing. No matter where you go in life, you were definitely gifted with an amazing instrument.

I've been listening to your songs for so long, in different situations in my life and different moods. And thank you... If my mood was bad, I was just listening to this song and it was taking me to the other, calm world, where i felt absolutely calm and good..
