It must be my age playing tricks on me. Before I listened to this album I read and saw the background stories leading me up to finally listen to this new album. To me it brought back the essential messages they taught me way back in the eighties… keeping it real. On a sad note so sorry to hear of the passing of your wife. How the hell do you find the strength to go on. I’ve been with my wife for more than thirty years and in full honesty, she’s my entire universe where literally everything spins around her. I suppose friendship and history was still there and you two are legend’s. The album is very good and has true meaning. Welcome back and thank you. To me already album of the year 😊.
So far its seeming worth the wait, immaculately produced and theres quite a lot of songs I keep getting the urge to replay. Id call it their best since The Seeds Of Love.
This album could not have come at a more perfect time for me!! Growing up as a teen in the 80's with ALL our amazing music....I missed the good times after what we've all been through the last 2 years! I've got this album on repeat in my car and WOW it makes me so so so happy and nostalgic!!
This album grows in you. The more you play it the more you appreciate and enjoy it. And best sounding album shout to the engineers of this wonderful album.

Right now, my favorites are Long Long Long Time and Break the Man. The entire album is exquisite and a stong, if early contender for my favorite album of 2022.
Got the album on Friday. I've already played it all the way through about 5 times. Then I've played my favorite tracks (most of the album actually), about another 4 times each. Fantastic album! I was really pleased when the Depeche Mode (one of my favorite bands of all time) "Spirit" album was so good after so many lukewarm releases after "Ultra". I KNEW that this TFF (another one of my favorite bands of all time) album would be great before hearing it! I just wish they would have put "Secret Location" on the US release. A great track.
All 3 of the bonus tracks currently out are great! I have a hard time figuring out where to play them within the album tracklist, though...but I do wish any or all of them were included on the album proper! There are no tracks I dislike, but I'd probably replace at least "My Demons" and maybe "End of Night" with some of the deluxe tracks. Plus "Secret Location" seems like an absolute choice for a single, to me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Couple of top blokes. Love them. It's really a solid album. So many great songs. I hope they can give us a couple more albums. Such a shame it was so long. Their last, 'Happy Ending,' was brilliant. Even better than this imo. Hard to fathom why they waited so long. Well, we know now about Roland's wife. Very sad. It's just so great to have them back. Hope they tour beyond the US and UK.
Only ONE thing will stop me from being a fan of these amazing men: my death! I've been a fan of Tears for Fears since the late 90's (I was born in 1985)!
