Tears I cannot dry
It pains me,
Every time I see her tears.
But it hurts even more,
When I can't even wipe them out.
I can't face her,
When her voice is shivering.
But I can't bring myself,
to calm her down.
I know everytime,
When she is hurt.
But I can't bring myself,
To bring her peace.
I saw her suffering,
Yet didn't utter a word.
I only hoped her to be fine,
But couldn't give her my support.
It's fine, if she is angry.
Cause all she had,
Was my presence.
Not a hand which helped.
Though my hands are tied,
I am by her side.
No matter, How silent my presence be,
I see all her battles she fights.
Maybe one day, I’ll find
The strength to reach out,
To hold her trembling hand
And guide her through the doubt.
Until then, I’ll stay,
Quietly by her side,
Hoping that my presence,
Is a comfort in disguise.
