wow - great theory!!

I’m starting to think that the infected version of Link is going to break off to form a Dark Link of sorts. You’re finding the mummified body of Ganon to try and heal the malice infection. You become your own big bad for the game.

My theory is that the new villain isn't actually Ganon, but that link and Zelda go looking for ganandorfs remains so that link can gain power from it. I think it explains why Link's new powerful arm looks so dead, it's actually power gained from ganon's remains.

I love this idea, though I definitely don't want Zelda to die (unless it's some Spirit Tracks stuff happening here). I also love jamming out to the Ancient Cistern theme

Somehow i strongly doubt THIS(or time travelling...)will be an actual part of the game.

Ik I've commented this before. But since I think that Malice is the incarnation of physical power, the Blue drop of sheika tech is the water of wisdom, and the green is the spirit energies of courage I think we'll be seeing a more intense combat of these powers in this game than what we saw in BOTW because that whole game had you fighting phantasmal form of power given physicality, the water of wisdom trapped within stagnant rock and metal ( sheika tech) and spirit living only within link.

Interesting well supported theory. I think if nothing else there is definitely some heavy lore behind the cave forest place, it's too out there to just be some innocuous cave
