Damn, I'm almost crying. My brother is a marine on his second deployment to Afghanistan right now. This song (especially Tech's verse) really makes me think of how real their sacrifice is. They are the people that offer their own life in return for the salvation of others who are no better. I have absolutely no respect for anyone who disrespects the armed forces. Support Our Troops!
This song along with many others have helped me so much. I know it seems messed up to say but it’s true. As a vet and a survivor I fought with my demons many times and am still trying to fight them off today. Tech N9ne I had the opportunity to meet you back in 08 during the strictly strange tour in Colorado Springs. You have helped me so much with my struggles and your music has continued to save my life!
I lost my niece the day before Christmas Eve last year. She took her own life the in a way the hook of this song goes.... It's very bittersweet to her this now. I can only think tho, "Stay with us! Your time to shine is coming. Trust!" Thank you Strange Music for helping me get through my day. Idk how many times I wouldn't have made it through the day without y'all's music

So many tributes to soldiers are made by artists, but this one hits so deep. It hits in the inner soul, and even now after years of being out, it bring me back to it all, and helps me face he reality. Even today, the guilt of knowing that there are those that I called brothers are suffering, here I am partying and just existing. I haven't cried in so long, but now I shamelessly do because every damn word is so damn true. All I can say is sorry I failed those I once called brother.
I'm a vet I did a tour in Iraq I did so others wouldn't have to but yes there are vets who deserve more for the sacrifices I'm glad there are people who truly appreciate those sacrifices and understand how ass backwards this country has gotten thank you for speaking up for vets
This song has resonated with me for years even in 2022 it stills helps to cope with too many incidents that haunt, I thank this whole label for existing, and to mayday for the opening verse that lives forever in my mind.

As a United States Marine, I have no problem with Tech rapping about Soldiers, Marines, and what they go through. All I see is him thanking the troops and respecting us, so I don't think civilians have a say in him rapping about us.
