i have seen your ratchet strap and baseplate is one piece. as a long term snowboarder i really reccomend to make 2 parts of them, because the ratchet strap tears appart in a about 4 years.
The new Colt 90 (with constellation graphic) would be great for an 11 year old. It's our entry level board so it doesn't have these bindings unfortunately, but would still work really well. The wheels were upgraded from last year, so they're on par with the rest of the line (i.e. genuine MBS tires, tubes, bearings, and hubs) which is really makes board a great buy. You could upgrade bindings later. Or, if your budget allows, the Core 94 would be amazing because the deck has fiberglass in it and it comes stock with the new F4 bindings.
