i used a Pitot Probe while Flowtesting the Hemi and Chevy Heads , i already knew the velocity was way to fast with the epoxy , but i still wanted to see what it would really do . ---------- in just a few Days apart on my Dyno, i Dyno tested Joe Tueton's V8 SS Hemi engine and Richie Rosen / Joe Martino Chevy B/ED engine i did same as you : i added about 3rd the distance of your drawing in epoxy on Joe Tueton's V8 SS Hemi engine, it Flow tested about 20 CFM better , but lost 20 HP , we had 8 Guys helping/watching the Dyno tests. removed the Heads , took a long screwdriver + sharp blows knocked the majority of Epoxy out , ground the rest out, and a few hours later on the Dyno , gained back 20+ HP -------- i had added epoxy to Martino's B/ED Heads about 1/2 the distance as your drawing , having just Dyno tested Tueton's Hemi engine , i knew Martino's engine was also going to lose HP, and it lost 17 Peak HP and more after Peak HP RPM point, we had 5 Guys that Day helping out , removed the Heads , knocked out the epoxy , few hours later , gained 17 Peak HP -------- i used AB Epoxy sticks , so it was not as good as SplashZone or KopCoat ( same epoxy ) and so much easier to knock out the Port w/screwdriver !

Velocity kills ( horsepower) when you have too much and damn does PipeMax save me a lot of time in that department. Thank you both George and Larry for all your contributions to the art of getting to 1320 first.

Hi Great videos really appreciate you taking the time to do them Where in the system should the Venturi be in a 4 valve head? Or what it the ideal port shape? Thanks
