So, myth or not question, you go through the break-in process as you described, put the top end down, remove the pistons from the cylinders, and check everything. Are the rings still usable? Thanks for sharing your wisdom with us.
How would I go about ordering a custom piston for Nicasil coated cylinders to get the compression up some? I can’t find anything that is not a flat top for the bore and stroke I have, with the heads that are on it?
