Technic Destroyer Droid in Action 

Good old times when bionicle/technic had functions.

Cause they need more money and these would sell out fast...maybe for a 100 anniversary lego can bring back all the old sets that the OG's like

2004 was when everything changed, Lego's generosity(or you could say clueless managment) with product design costed them a lot of money(to the point of near-bankruptcy); packing too many features into a single product is good for the consumer, but not so much for the company, as unique parts/functions require new moldings/special components, which are not cheap to make/source. After 2004 that's when Lego started to control the amount of new features/functions in the Technic sets; they will squeeze just enough features to make a selling piont, while jacking up the prices with tons of detail parts that serve no functional purposes but are cheap to make. So why doesn't Lego make stuff like this anymore? Because they realized is better to make simple sets that cost a little, but sale a lot, than to make complex sets that costed a lot but sale the same/less(because some people can't handle the complexity).

There is another Lego droideka but it’s not like it’s technic version and it does roll up but it dosent transform when it’s rolled and yea
