Ken Essex takes us through the technical features and winning history of the 2019 Kawasaki KX250 motorcycle. You can always tell when a new bike is the focus of a manufacturer. When it comes time to put an all-new motorcycle into the marketplace, other models in the line-up get very little, if any, attention. That’s exactly what happened with Kawasaki this year, as their full efforts went into the KX450 and the KX250 received only very subtle cosmetic updates. It’s worth noting that 2019 marks year three for the current generation of the KX250, a design that was first debuted in model year 2017 and then received a number of updates and refinements for 2018. There were 50 changes in total between the 2017 and 2018 models in an attempt to improve the torque and throttle response of the engine and to improve the balance of the Showa suspension. For 2019, the KX250 is now wrapped in all green plastics, from the front to the rear fender, and are finished with a new graphic design.

I guess someone forgot to tell AP the deal. I am pretty sure more 300cc 2t are sold than all the kaw's F bikes put together. I could be wrong, you wouldn't know it by all the turn out at off road and dual sport events. This is coming from a kdx220 lover by the way.

F that. The only reason I clicked on a video of this snore stroke is because I wanted to see if the chasis is the same as previous years because I’m gonna stick a REAL kx250 2 Smoker engine into it. Perfect and balanced, as all things should be. MURICA

*There's the good old EPAs propaganda* "2-Strokes are a thing of the past" rightt. Do i think the 4-strokes have made the most improvement sure but that's because there has been 10 more years of R&D over a 2T.

Ill ride either but i won't sit silent why they try to play off their giving up attitude & blame 2-stroke. Because i won't be silent either in the *future when the EPA trys to put down my "4-strokes are thing of past the past" compared to a Electric DirtBike*

Ok. So I guess they're throwing the "f" in the garbage???? HEY Kawasaki !!! KX250 DENOTES that it's a 2 STROKE. WHAT the hell are you guys doing. Bring back the F in the 4stroke and bring back 2 stroke bikes. You're killin me. And 2 million other people.
