Thanks Rudolph, you are Completely Correct about twisting the rod sections in and out! To me, that makes automatic sense as I also have a two section rod. 🎣 I wouldn't do any sanding on the one section to fit in, I would let it wear slowly naturally, or not take them apart alot! I would twist the rod section in and out few times, until it fits in better! 🎣 I have also joined different sections of older glass fibre rods without any problems. I always do my binding close to the hole section which strengthens the joint. 🎣 "Catch a big one!" 🐟

Sand paper works well. I did it with my rod. Thanks for the fishing tips.

Hi, thanks 4 the tip, another thing I do is to rub the piece the fits into the other end of the against my nose, the oil helps to slightly lubricate the rod and it makes it easy to pull apart
