Love your content Michael. You took me from painting happy little bob Ross trees to photorealism just from your RU-vid channel and that was before you even opened your school. Thanks a million. My little 8 year old daughter has also caught the painting bug.

My wife is trying to turn me the other way. For as long as I remember I've painted 'realism' but I've had 24 years of paint me a Bob Ross. I really don't like Bob Ross' paintings! Although Bob seemed like a nice fella 😊

Hi Michael Can't wait to see the full lesson in your channel. Question: what are you using to prop the panel on your vertical board? I see 📌 at the bottom but not at the top. Is it a sticky board?

It seems to depend on the painting. If he is going to use this as a lesson. He will clarify in the first lesson.

Hello Professor I am one of those people who really likes to paint landscapes with acrylic paints. But my problem is I tend to be so impatient that I mess it up many times. and clips teaching various techniques Yours is the only thing that makes me want to continue in this field. I am a member of your art school as well as on your Patreon. I have a question for you can you demonstrate how you load your brushes. When I load a brush it never comes out even. Also I see you have an Epson printer what sizes of paper can it print up to? I admire your technique so much, no one comes close to your ability. When I look at your paintings you can feel the fresh air, breeze, bugs biting, hear the ripples on the water you have the ability of bringing all of our senses into being. Thank you for showing us how you accomplish this.

Hi Michael Your YT channel is great, and thank you - but that elevator music is just too dominating - especially when you are speaking. Can you dumb it down a bit please? When you demonstrate, I turn the volume down. Obviously when you speak, I try and get it right, turning the volume up, but THAT music then drives me to distraction. And I’m am an Amateur musician, playing a number of instruments. So, I’m not anti - music, so to speak. Not at all. Ending on a positive, you do a great job. I have not signed up for a course yet, due to time constraints, but hopefully in the near future. Thank you from Melbourne.

Brilliant! Straight-forward logic! Enjoyed your presence immensely and your quite frank explanations. I did actually notice your change of brushes from times past, all which have ever spot-on between your deft fingers. Have I morfed me own brushes into like kinds thus taming the oopses🗑️and🕤🕚, very good feeling that. And me face is 😁 from the Mikey music style on this one, energetic, rhythmic, more liken your true rascally nature. Gratitude SirMikey, and a very good one indeed!

From the bottom of my heart, thank you Michael. I did art for GCSEs, A-Levels and uni then lost it to a career not true to myself for 25 years. My grandfather was a CEO with 24k staff under him and told me that art is not a career since I remember. Your channel has opened the door to who I am supposed to be. I’m back! Thanks also for the paintbrushs, they just arrived.
