Seems so easy when you make these melodic progressions but everytime I try to creat a catchy melody I end up with cheesy stuff. But maybe starting from the bassline could help, thanks again for the vid man!

I love making this style. Kinda got burnt(and could tell the audience was burnt) on the exact. same. artists. and. sounds. every. time. give me some reference tracks/artists you guys would want tutorials on! Would definitely get back to this stuff and mix up the techno.

I guess I’d love to see more from PIV, Up The Stuss, Traumer, Defected Records, Claptone, KETTENKARUSSEL (def big one Id love to see), more stuff in the likes of artists on Houseum from the last year (only 4 to the floor ones though). No real name as far as I’m aware. It leans pretty heavy on that Phrygian flat 2 and augmented 4th (tritone), which sort of also implies Locrian? That’s how I’d tend to lean anyways, making chords for that sort of melodic scale would get pretty tough without using a shit ton of secondary dominants or sevenths
