Hey Christine, I would love to see you go through a mock case interview (perhaps with your bf acting as the interviewer?) just to have a better sense of how your framework can be put to the test!
The downside behind this is I don’t want people to copy me or think my way is the best way because you can have the same case but 193832 different ways to respond to it and still do a kickass job.
@@ChristineWong I see, you could always try cloning yourself like Jacksfilms lol. More realistically, you might need to go back & forth filming yourself, and label each side as interviewer or interviewee.
@@ChristineWong I see, that's definitely a valid concern. I think it would be helpful as a guide/ starting point, since I'm sure people would need to think creatively anyways to answer each specific case (as each one has a different objective/ problem).
I love how you were able to integrate the basic concepts of People, Process, and Technology into your own framework. It was even designed and explained well enough for a beginner like me to understand!
Liked how you used the sound effects with the framework diagrams! Really helped to catch my attention and follow along! Always amazes me how it looks like you know exactly what you want to say
Thank you for making this video! It’s clear, insightful and helpful. To top it off, You’re young, smart and beautiful. It would have been great to have worked with you. Maybe we’ll cross path. I foresee an amazing future for you.
Super helpful! What an amazing and informative video! Good Job Christine! Just got a job interview from Accenture as well, for tech consultant based in Sydney office. Hope I can get in!
Hey Gary! I’m glad you found value in my content! Congrats on the interview and good luck! I saw you just joined the FB group, so be sure to check out all the resources and let me know if you have any questions!
Hello , Would you mind clarifying the differences between the frist framework (Industry, Company, Technology) and People, Process and Technology. Do you mean that both of these frameworks should be used in the case or is it examples of two different frameworks that can be used? :) PS: Very good and informative video, thank you!
I think both should be used to help structure your response! They focus on different parts though some overlap. Industry, company and technology is more high level and macro. People, process and technology is more operational and micro.
this is very useful Cristine! I'm a rec consultant and one of my candidates has an interview with E&Y Zurich next week, a case study will be part of the interview, I'll definitely pass this on to my candidate, hopefully it goes well, fingers X
Hello Christine, I enjoyed every piece of your video and thanks for posting such great content! I have a question- in tech consulting case study, are we using frameworks to answer "Why I choose this solution? For example, cloud migration" OR "How I implement this solution, what to consider when you implement this solution"? Thank you!!!
You’re welcome! Frameworks are simply just ways to communicate the answer clearly. In reality, especially in tech consulting, we don’t use frameworks. My framework specifically would help you mention exactly what are the areas to touch when answering any case but it’s not a real framework in the traditional sense.

Welcome to the second video of this series! Set a reminder so you can engage with me in the live chat when it premieres! I will be answering all your questions about tech consulting, Accenture, case interviews, the program, the video, or even myself!
@@ChristineWong thank you for replying Christine! I just hopped in your FB group haha ;) . Just a quick suggestion, maybe you could do a video that goes through a whole case interview, that could be so helpful and practical!!
Someone mentioned that, but case interviews really depend on the person, so I really didn’t want to tell people what I’m doing IS the correct way to do it. It’s all about how you communicate and how you think. My fear is people would think my way is the best way when it’s going to differ by case, firm, and role. I do hold coaching services so I can provide that one on one and know exactly what the situation is though and tailor the experience to the client.
Hi, does this apply for cyber security consultant (non technical job). Any tips for cyber security consultant, can you make an example how you solve a case interview step by step
Not all tech consulting will have cases! Depending on how technical the role is, it might actually be more technical. In my case, this was how the interview was for the entry level program so it wasn’t really specialized and focused on how you approach a problem from a technical standpoint. I also do have a playlist with all the mock case interviews! ru-vid.com/group/PLibY-3NAtJvGYyXQDIbBjfeTtW1ed6ycN&si=8EaH6ARvs5VPOEKO
I had an intervju on a thursday, that went well. Now they wanted to do this kind of interview on wednesday, the week after.... Im not optimistic at all as subjects like these are not my strong points. Not to mention there is barely time for practice. But this is a good video for next time.
It’s not too late to study and practice! Learn about the tech concepts and try some practice cases! This way when you do the actual interview you are more prepared and have a better idea for next time!
So, your videos have been super helpful! I had my final interview (I think it went pretty well) How long does accenture take to get back to you (offer or rejection)?
Congrats on making it this far! It honestly does depend on many factors because sometimes they need to work through interviews with other candidates, get approval from the upper levels on the amount, work it through legal, etc. Usually a rejection is clear if you’re not a good fit and would be more immediate, but if they’re still deciding between other candidates, it may take a while to receive a rejection. An offer is also dependent on that. They may even decide to reject you after the chosen candidate signs the offer too if you’re not chosen, so it could take time.
Hi Christine! I am currently working towards being a technology consultant; but, I come from a Liberal Arts education background. I have been working on certifications and technical skills right now. Would it be possible, and what avenues could be possible for someone like me at a company like Accenture? Any insight would be appreciated and I love your videos. Thank you for sharing with us!
Definitely! Actually check out my two videos here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KgNyfSo9JBo.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qahLwj6ST-c.html You actually DEFINITELY can go in as a liberal arts education background and I know some who have! My recommendation for you is try to find an internship that is tech related (there are many that don’t even require coding or a technical background), and try to upskill! It’s crucial to make your resume look like you’re remotely interested in tech so the recruiter can see the story on why you want tech consulting. Whether it be personal projects, an internship, or even an extracurricular activity! You can also go into a firm that maybe focuses on higher education or HPS industries (health and public services), so that’s one way to segway in!
Okay, this is better. I'm sorry for the comment. You are free to remove that. I've subscribed and shared this. All the best . Also, loved the start of the video
In fact, I have case interview & presentation this week with bayer and I am currently preparing for it. The post is IT country integration professional and I had my first round already last month. Any advice @Christine
I’m sorry you feel that way. Can you tell me what I should have explained better and how? If this is not helpful, I have mock interviews on the channel that can demonstrate it with real time feedback.
Sorry, I’ve never had the showcase interview so I’m not sure! But a lot of principles of a case interview apply even in a presentation mode! Good luck!
