Hey, we work a lot with the Service Catalog, and we would like to use studio to create the Catalog Items and work on them. We're thinking to create an application per Catalog Item, does that make sense?
You can certainly do that. It just comes down to how many catalog items you have. If you, like some companies, have hundreds of catalog items, are you willing to manage and maintain hundreds of apps, or can you define the apps by category, department, or something else that enables you to manage fewer while still gaining the value of source control, etc.? Something to think about.
@@ChuckTomasi thanks for the response Chuck :). Yes we have around 300, because we're migrating from a different system to servicenow, and we heard it was better to move out from update sets and start using the Studio, so yes we're up to maintain them
Guys, this could have been done so much better and in half the time. I comment because I care. Either start rehearsing in front of real users or pass the torch to someone who will. These should be polished and insightful. Not clumsy, distracted and long. Chuck, you're a pro so I'm holding you to a high standard. I was hoping this would be something I could share with my organization. So they could see the power of SN studio. I won't show this. I wouldn't watch this.
Thank you Patrick for the feedback. I'd like to discuss specifics on where we can tighten this up. Please feel free to send me an email to my work account (chuck dot tomasi at servicenow dot com).
