Love your lineup for this year! In 2022, I started logging bullet points of what I do on trips in a passport insert like you do and it was so life-changing. It took away the pressure to journal before I forget things, so I could just enjoy the trip and if I didn’t end up with enough time to journal in-depth before I got back, I knew I’d have a list of everything I did on which day. Thank you for that tip!!
Happy New Year Abby! I have to credit you for starting me on my fountain pen journey last year. Your videos inspired me creatively and brought color back into my everyday mundane tasks! Thank you for sharing your creations!
I don't use a planner at all this is because it for me is to complicated. Love looking a them but not using them. I do use thought a journal a A5 journal that I got on amazon by a company Oberon design which I love using the have covers, and notebooks, and for my outside journal I have a travelers comunty passport size travelers notebook that I am really exited about it because I had travelers notebooks before but not the name brand travelers notebook so this will be the first time for that.
29:00 Hi Abby! Love this video and will be pre ordering your new book! Could I ask where I purchase the diarist stuff from especially the prompts… love them!
1) I love kraft covers as well. Give Moleskine Cahier L in Kraft a try, I love them so much! 2) I am making commonplace books for poetry, music, books and maybe (haven't decided that yet) for TV and Podcasts. I love documenting the current things I'm into. Such a great log. It is so much fun! I also do them inside my TRC passport. 3) I have TRC in regular size, but lately I'm obsessed with passport size. So easy to fill and easier to carry! 4) I have a lot of journals as well, but each one is for different subjects (I did a video about that, you can check it out if you want). I've been making creative journals in my TN's but decided to let go of that ('creative journaling' I mean) this year, because I don't want to duplicate things, it's a waste of time in my opinion). 5) Thanks for your video, it was really interesting to see what are your plans for journaling and memory keeping and planning for 2023! Great video Abbey and have a wonderful year!
I broke into my diarist notebook today! I was inspired by your beautiful diarist that I wanted one for myself to fill up. Only thing I dont have is your beautiful penmanship ;( I tried writing a little small within the dot grid lines but it still doesn't look as neat as yours. Also, thanks for telling us where you got the plastic cover to protect the diarist!
Hi May! Awww nooo don't feel pressured to have a certain type of penmanship :) I hope you find The Diarist useful and write to your heart's content! Yes I use the Midori CODEX but also if you have a Hobonichi cover it fits well too. Happy journaling!
For some reason when I see the zip cover that you choose, I immediately reminded to your green sailor fountain, and voila hahahaa. Always love your set up always super neat with aesthetic color palette 🥰🥰🥰 little sad to see the shop ceasing (not mention on video but on IG in case anyone read my comments lol) but very excited to know that wld mean we will get more content (I assume). Im also using Eng cousin w AC board for 2023, cant wait to be inspired with yourss 😘
Happy New Year! I love your lineup. For this year, my lineup would be the following: -an A4 sized Monthly Bullet Journal. I think this journal would last until March so I would need to start another journal by then; -a DIY pocket-sized journal for my Yearly Bullet Journal which I also intend to use as my everyday carry journal. That means that I will be carrying this journal wherever I go for the whole year; -a very old pocket-sized Currently Journal; -another pocket-sized journal for my Devotional Journal. I make it my goal to at least and reflect on one chapter of the Bible for a day. And the best way to do that is by journaling about it. I used to do that in my bullet journal then on Google Keep. But now, I think it's time for me to have a separate journal for Bible Reading; -a DIY Junk Journal for memory keeping; -an old notebook for Creative Journaling like making collages, etc.
Happy new year ✨ oh no I missed the premiere would’ve loved to chat with you! Hopefully I’ll catch the next one. I’m glad you enjoy the charm I’m excited too see how you use your journals 🤗

I love all your illustrations…but you did it you are doing what you love! Thank you for sharing and inspiring us all!
Happy New Year, Abbey, and your line up is nice! For me, my line up is quite simple (I have a feeling it's gonna change once I graduate) but for now I'm using a simple notebook therapy A5 notebook for bullet journaling, a celestial agenda for school, a dreamymoons diary for documenting and a passport traveler's journal for plotting out things for my stories and stuff-that's about it. Oh and also you inspired me to get a Lamy fountain pen (and it's in orange and I love it so much)
Happy new year! This year I will stick with my travelers journal: monthly, weekly&memo and a dot grid insert to write down memories Thank you for the inspiration
