nice one kev - as you know i have these and found the same thing that two next to each other in a power strip or most 2 gang sockets can be a squeeze. I use mine with the smartlife or oittm app to keep everything together
I think these are the same ones I bought the end of last year. I still haven't taken them out of the box haha. Good priced smart home things are a bad thing for me. As for the extension lead I believe officially you shouldn't really do that but honestly should be ok. So that's You, Me and Mike that all have the Tenda Nova mesh system haha. Still have no idea why Tuya refused to pay for the licence for IFTTT. Great video Kev
Awesome video, very interested in getting some of these, can you connect to the plugs from a different network once they have been configured? Also your studio, can you get out or do you sit behind those desks locked in?
Hi Dave. You can access them from outside the local network yes. You can activate the switches from another network or 4g as long as you have Internet access. The studio has a secret trap door with a slide down to the couch in the lounge ;) (I wish)
