I enjoy playing with the TF40 305. I've added a leather grip for added weight in the handle making it more HL. I love the small details on the frame like the stamp in the throat and then the texture on the hoop. I have really liked it with Volkl vSquare in the mains with a smooth slippery poly cross. This helped me keep the control of the 18x20 bed but get some wonderful spin. Give it a try some time. The TF40 seemed to have a little more power than the v7 blade 18x20. The v7 though felt like it was more muted/comfortable but not by much. Both racquets hit through the ball as if it was a heavier racquet though. I also have the tFight Ltd DC 315 in 18x20. A very comfortable racquet and was said to be the "poor mans Head pt57". At 315 it was very HL and has lots of potential to add weight in the hoop and keep it still at a friendly static weight.

The “squared off” throat design is more commonly termed “box beam” construction in the industry. Box beams have less strength than elliptical/round/oval shapes, hence, thought to give a softer (better?) feel. Less strength also means that the throat will need to be relatively thicker in material and heavier, which again some would say gives a plusher feel. As such, box beams are mostly found on the more advanced players’ rackets which are control and feel oriented eg: pro staff, blade, TF40, prestige etc.

The TF40 305 is a superior racket and is my favorite out of both Blades , both Pure Strikes, Pro Staff , ezone and both vcore 98.. The feel is sensational..and the playability is world class..

Interestingly, Jeremy Chardy apparently plays with the stock 305. As I've personally not seen his frame I can't confirm, but that's always been the talk rather surprisingly. John Millman endorses the 320 & can confirm it's slightly modified. He also uses black code that he's been using for years. I've had a XTC Ltd (315) in my bag for over a year. I've played around with its weight quite a bit, but never got it to play totally the way I wanted. It's always been reviewed highly as a players frame, I think the 16x19 pattern perhaps too open and just a bit inconsistent feeling. Technifibre is rather clever with its 305 sticks by making them slightly more weighted in the head, so they do have a decent SW & fair plow, whilst still being able to customise if needed. Great video, how are they on the arm? And especially the 300 or maybe the 305. I mean the stiffness doesn’t always say everything. So What is your opinion on the arm friendliness of the rackets? Thank you in regards.

I also wish they made the TF40 315 in a more open string pattern. I'd probably switch if they did.

What about TFLASH 300 CES? is better than the old one TFLASH 300PS? is good for intermediates or which racket do you suggest?

I just picked up a Prince Beast 98 as a practice stick that is less stiff than my Roddick PD+ GT....the head shape is almost exact for both. The PD is not fun to hit when I have to slow my swing hitting against anyone under 4.0.

Again, would have preferred to see Measurements to check QC of these racquets. Lack of measurements on the Dunlop SX300 video was a real disappointment, which was repeated here, sadly :(
