I have no idea why the youtube algorithm isn't kinder to this channel... if more people could see that these had been uploaded, the views would be through the roof! Thanks for uploading these John, they're an absolute treat. P.S If you wanted to make some real money out of these, you'd be best off making this a podcast rather than a youtube series... just a thought, if you hadn't considered it.
What a fantastic interview. I love being able to reminisce with you guys. I remember watching Ted and Sherri when I was a kid. Sherri was terrifying. They don't make wrestling like that anymore.
Possibly the greatest gimmick of all time. And Ted could go in the ring and could talk on the mic. He didn't have the best body of his era, but it didn't matter. He always made himself and his opponent look good.
LOVED MDM....until this interview. As an ordained minister, I cannot believe he was up here dropping more profanity than JBL. True a sin is a sin, but its definitely not a good look for someone who preaches the gospel.
Ted was a big part of my early wrestling experience . He was both the top babyface and top Heel in Louisiana . I was happy he was on top in WWF but I was not a fan of goofy gimmicks .
Million Dollar Man was a great character. Hated the guy. I think Vince really must have had a hatred for the wealthy abusing the poor. After MDM and before JBL we had Tiger Ali Singh. He was along the same vein, paying members of the audience to do horrible things with his servant, Abu. I still remember those feet. Bleugh!! What an absolutely lovely guy Ted is and it's great to see him looking so well.
