I've watched just about every live performance of Ted's on RU-vid, and this really does seem to be the only one where he seems to be truly happy, relaxed and enjoying himself. He was such a great talent but always looks so uncomfortable and nervous as a performer. I suppose this was before his struggles became really apparent, or perhaps the relaxed Kikka Dikka Ding environment just really suited him.
Absolutely agree, you can see in the later interviews. This is a more intimate setting than a stadium or music hall, and not as demanding as a one on one with an interviewer, where he often seemed very uncomfortable
