Condolences on your puppy. I had 3 pugs (mom, dad and son). I had to put the last one to sleep a couple years ago now. One of the hardest things ive ever had to do. Much love brother. God bless

I saw this in theaters with some friends, I remember not being that interested myself despite being a FAMILY GUY fan. But I am so glad I changed my mind. The comedy in this was amazing and all the actors did a great job. The second film is not as memorable to me aside from a few choice scenes but can't wait to see you react it. I needed to rewatch this reaction today as I needed a good laugh at work. Love all the pop-culture references. Take care friends and I'll see you in the next one.

Haha SAME!! I erroneously called him the Charmin Bear rather than the Snuggles Bear that I was thinking of, but I remember seeing the ads and just not feeling it. But like you, OH SWEET CHEESES am I glad I watched this! Even now, a week or so removed from it, random lines from the movie keep popping into my head and making me laugh all over again. "Let me stuff my face with Pepperidge FAHHHM"

I am glad that this film got a few smiles back on your face. Seth MacF's humor has grown stale for me over the years. Watching this with you only confirmed my opinion. Overall, The Orville is very good. It's a nice blend of space adventure/drama with some humor thrown in. I did feel it got a little heavy handed by the end of its run.

A great “normalising the bear” thing is the TV show Greg The Bunny. It’s a silly sitcom in a world where puppets exist and live normal puppets lives. Sarah Silverman Eugene Levy Seth Green and funny puppets.

Mustsees: Happy, Texas (this movie was kind of liked in the gay world or at least it was when I lived in west Hollywood) and/or Safe Men (costarring Sam Rockwell) Employee Of The Month is crazy and Zahn is crazy in it.(starring Matt Dillon not the Dane Cook movie with same title) subUrbia also stars Nicky Katt (Boiler Room. Dazed and Confused, Friends) and Dina Spybey giving a performance that I still remember moving me when I first saw it. She’s also in Greg The Bunny. Boiler Room also stars Vin Diesel (again with Ribisi in Saving Private Ryan) and the soundtrack is by a female dj. It’s a great flick. Affleck makes an appearance. Ribisi also stars in his Saving Private Ryan homie Adam Goldberg’s first writing/directing venture. He was also in Friends as was Ribisi’s sister who was the red head friend of Adam Goldberg’s character in Dazed and Confused. Of course, Ribisi and Zahn also appear together in That Thing You Do too. I could go on forever because there was a generation of indie actors when I was a movie nerd that graduated to mainstream megahits and I love that I was a fan of all these guys when they were making $2 indies and now everyone knows and loves them. Sorry for the ramble. I love this group and highly recommend those movies. Oh and Sam Rockwell in Safe Men with Steve Zahn is a must, but to really see early amazing Rockwell acting see Lawn Dogs.

I am so glad this movie made you laugh, given all that you have going on! I have had a strange affinity for Mark Wahlberg for years and love everything he does, but he really sells the fight scene in this one - with a teddy bear! There’s a great outtake with Mika Kunis absolutely unable to keep a straight face with Wahlberg’s pronunciation of teddy bear. It’s worth looking up. Loved watching this movie with you, as always. I don't know why I didn't really warm to ol Marky Mark at first, but then a couple of really great roles (like Patriot's Day) won me over to him. First, so sorry for your guy's loss. Any pet is a gift from God as if you saw my appearance on "Wheel Of Fortune" (12/19/2019 aired), I'm a proud cat-daddy of two (Frankie, who is 15 & I've had since he was 8 weeks old & Smokey, whom I adopted from the Maryland SPCA when he was 11 weeks old and will be 13 next month) and if I lost either one of these two angels, it would be as hard as when I lost my mom. And second, yes "laughter through tears is my favorite emotion!" BTW, Smokey watched this reaction with me and he sends his love as well! xo Oh third, are you referring to the teddy bear from the "Snuggle" dryer sheet commercials?

@DavidvsFilm ah yes Scream. #3 prob my least fav of franchise, but I still enjoy all of them. And the first Scream was so on point for the time & Wes Craven RIP just a master class of creativity & game changer for the genre when it was very badly needed at that time. I have so much I could say about Scream, but I'll share my very first thought bout Scream #1 & that was holy crap wtf just happened. Did they really just kill the main star ( ie Drew Barrymore)? Ok guess this must be a Craven movie & all bets are off. Knowing they purposely put her face all over those movie posters, just pure genius & I saw it like 4 times in the theater. Everything w that movie was gold!!❤️💞❤️

Happy Movie Sunday, David! 😊 Sending lots of love to you and Marc after the loss of your beloved dog. ❤ This, and the sequel are such great movies. And one of my favorite Mark Wahlberg movies. Some of my other favorite Mark Walberg movies that I very highly recommend: "Patriots Day"(2016), "Daddy's Home 1 & 2"(Marc might enjoy those two as well), "Uncharted"(2022), "Fear"(1996), and "The Departed"(2006). Haha aww thank you so much!! Yeah we lost our little pup of almost 20 years after her being sick recently, so we just weren’t much in the mood to do anything :( Back in the saddle now though!
