'Ted Lasso': Nick Mohammed Takes Us Inside His Shocking Team Roast 

I love Ted Lasso. Nick Mohammed is such an amazing actor and Nate is a beautifully written character…the best part is when Nate’s voice cracks as he says to Roy something like “I’m worried what will happen if you keep the anger to yourself…”. This show is so full of tiny little beautiful moments like this. Aw man, I am off to watch this episode again…..

I love this scene, but the moment when I absolutely fell in love with Nick Mohammed and his characterization of Nate, was when he first handed Ted coaching notes, Ted says he can’t hear him, asks if he believes it will work. Nate responds, “Yeah, I do” (in his usual soft spoken way), Ted and Beard fall about, saying he doesn’t need to shout at them, and Nate, having expected a put down, smiles in this amazing way, realizing they are both teasing and encouraging him. That smile broke my heart, but also filled me with joy and made me part of Nate’s transformation. It is an example of the truly lovely small moments of this show.

Fun to hear Nick Mohammed's real voice. Ted Lasso is an amazing show.

Nick is so great in Ted Lasso as Nate... It's been amazing to watch everything he puts into the character and how he brings the writers words to life. In season 2 when Roy becomes a coach the look on Nick's face, at the end, had me legitimately concerned for Nate's place on the coaching staff; especially after just building on his assertiveness and self-confidence. Such a great show top to bottom!

Wow, didn't realise until hearing Nick Mohammed just how subdued he has been playing Nate. Great character, and a fantastic scene. 😀

This show blowing up makes me SOOOOOOO damn happy!!! Day 1 fan here, and I welcome every newcomer with open arms. This show is special, and deserves every ounce of goodwill. ❤️

[Spoiler] Good job, Mohammed Nick, on being the new bad guy by the Season 2 finale. People REALLY hate Your character at the end of It. Here's hoping You don't get harassed by Them so that You can do the Season 3.
