i honestly love how it shows that even the most perfect people on the outside (Ted lasso for example) have flaws and their own problems just like everyone else.

@@MrAirZone25 You seem to have captured the essence of the show's appeal, seeing as each of its otherwise successful characters definitely has warts. To me Lasso's appeal is that he's able to place premium on other people no matter what he's going through, that he purposely looks past people's warts believing always that there's likely a gem underneath and, in so doing, helps them find out that's true of themselves. He helps people redeem themselves in their own eyes. Well, all but the incorrigible. Them he just humiliates. The power to do that seems to rise from genuine service to others. That at least has been my experience.

With overtime and extra innings, it is far more rare for a game to end in a tie, and in some sports (baseball, basketball, hockey, and college football, although rules making ties in the last two impossible are relatively recent [both came about in the 1990s]) impossible.
