Jeremy Kroeker is the author of "Motorcycle Therapy: A Canadian Adventure in Central America," and "Through Dust and Darkness: A Motorcycle Journey of Fear and Faith in the Middle East." Jupiter's Travels is an amazing book! I just bought the sequel (Dreaming of Jupiter). As a motorcycle adventurer, writer and future RWT rider, it's very inspiring and I've learned a lot from it. I wish Mr. Simon many more joyful years in the saddle, he's a living legend.

I brought the book when I was 12 put me on the path of motorcycles ,now I am 52 still have have a bike , So thanks Ted Simons

The No 1 motorcycle travelogue. Most inspiring and interesting, albeit the world has been destroyed with overpopulation since I read it 40 years ago. (it was destroyed even then but NO ONE HAS DONE ANYTHING to curtail) Read the sequel

The background talk is irritating and takes away from Teds comments.

I agree. For me, this was early days of RU-vid and filming interviews. I knew that the background voices would be distracting, but because of Ted's schedule (he was just about to take the stage in California), this was my only window to have him on camera. You can hear seals barking in the background, too., Oh well. We all learn and improve. Thanks for your comment.
