At COLAS Australia, we recognise the traditional owners of the land on which we live and work. As our Group operates in all Australian states in various capacities, we show our respects to all native communities, families, and elders.
For our 15-year anniversary events, we showcased our asphalt plant and office in Yatala, QLD to industry and key international COLAS members. Opening this event was Ted Williams, a highly respected elder of the Yugambeh people, whose ancestral territory encompasses our Yatala location.
As part of our commitment to fostering meaningful relationships with indigenous communities, we were honoured to have Mr Williams give this Welcome To Country, symbolising the unity between our operations and the land we call home. This event served as a testament to our dedication to sustainable practices and our ongoing support for the Australian communities we serve.
