In a flight in 2018 to Addis Ababa after 11 years aboard, I heard this song for the first time in that plane. I litsened to it For 6 hours, almost the whole flight. Even thou i slept throu it for some time, the whole time I was litsening to it each word touched me. I realised how much i was hurted while I was away from my family, my neighbours and all beloveds all the 11 years. I was thankfull that I was back and i had the best 4 weeks of my life. Thank you Teddy !!!!
@@sartembish1685 he's saying where shall I spent the night if it ain't with u....a love song but deep down he's singing for ethiopia(that he can't trade he's country for any other) amazing poetry
Long live to our King, Teddy Afro. You will always be my number 1. This particular song means a lot to me. Emma Zend Yeder is such an exceptional track with its unique and chill beats and an amazing lyrics. Ere Dessie Dessie... takes me back to my childhood times in Dessie, Gerado and Wollo in general. For some reason, I find myself in a different level and my soul gets to unexplainable feeling as soon as I hear this song. Teddy Afro is a LEGEND and not a single person in Ethiopian Entertainment can equal him. Definitely my favorite part of the entire DVD 4:58 አረ ደሴ ደሴ ፤ አረ ቃሎ ቃሎ እንደ ዋለ ቀረ ቁም ነገሬ ሁሉ ደሴ ምሳ በልቶ ቦሩ ቢሄድ ጤነኛ መኪናው ዘለቀ ሞልቶ መንገደኛ...
Milani Michell I would love to explain the meaning of this song! It has got a very deep meaning and translation. Kinda hard to write all that down here. Do you have any social media?
Can"t listen enough of this master piece of Teddy Afro. It is not your average love song. It reflects the depth and the beauty of Ethiopian original culture.

Tedy, the incredible poet, we love and respect you. You have done plenty of worthy contribution to Habesha culture and humanity. It is really difficult to stand as adversary to you. You are simply love and peace. May you live long enough to see the Ethiopia, Africa you seek to see, my majesty! Love conquests, as you always say!

Please write his name here. If he is Muslim Amhara, then he is most probably from Southern part of Wello, where most of the Amhara population of this area is Muslim. My mother was also a Muslim from this area. May be I can help in your search for your father's family and close relatives. We are here for you brother!!!
