GLC was really the last realistic/ authentically funny show Disney had . Ravens home kinda brought back the authenticity, but it didn’t match its predecessor.
Yeah, but at least Raven’s Home brung back some nostalgia and a bit of Old Disney vibes, as well as some important topics, but it still doesn’t defeat the original, of course.
There was also Andi Mack. And I haven't watched Girl Meets World but I've heard good things about it. One of the creators of GLC said the purpose was to make a realistic Disney Channel sitcom in contrast with the other ones at the time. "No one's a wizard, no one's a pop star, no one has a TV show".
