I have lung cancer and have gone through radiation and chemo. Lost almost 100 lbs. Needless to say with no hair and so much skin issues I feel like I look like a monster but this song picks me up and motives me to looking back to "normal" Thanks Teddy

This song was almost too much for me to handle. My husband always said you look amazing or you're so beautiful, even if I wasn't feeling very beautiful. He told me time and time again that he was proud that I was his wife and always, always said I love you when he went out the door or hung up after talking with me on the phone. I started to take it for granted, it was just something we always did every day. After 38 years together I lost him very suddenly in 2021. Oh how I wish I could hear him tell me that I look amazing or I love you babe just one more time.

Wow... my commemt to this post was 2 years ago. Since then these people have moved lives and touched souls in person. I have met and hugged this man at the concerts and NOTHING has changed in the souls of these friends who took us through a pandemic. Believe in them. Their truth is now known to the world. Well deserved. Our love is theirs❤️

Saw Teddy last night at the Waikiki Shell in Hawaii, heard this song for the very first time it brought tears to my eyes, because my husband of 28 years passed away 9 months ago would say the same kind of words in this song to me. It was like i could hear his voice. Thank you Teddy. I now have a new favorite song.

Favorite male vocalists include Van Morrison, Marvin Gaye, Luther Vandross, Michael Franks, George Benson, Boz Scaggs, Jackson Browne, Bluey, Paul Brown, Robin Thicke, Khalid, Maxwell, Jake Owen, Morgan Wallen, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, George Strait, etc. Teddy Swims has blasted to the top of my favorites. BTW: It would be wonderful to hear Teddy's cover of various Van Morrison songs, like "Moondance".

I can picture myself sorry but laying in the hospital bed dying looking my worst and remembering my fiance telling me how beautiful I am and wanting me to go out to his special place where we met to meet the people that he talks about me too and he tells them I'm beautiful and wants them to meet me and I just think I look horrible but this song makes me think of that and believe that my heart and soul is more beautiful than the outside even though he still says I'm beautiful the way I am even without my eyebrows
