You did them in the correct order!! Losing My Mind was him addicted to drugs (and metaphorically dying at the end/ascending into the clouds), Losing My Life was the “Evil” side of him functioning in his brain while he was “asleep” (drugs forcing him into a state of mind and not seeing his actual life/missing out on his daughter’s upbringing and fighting internally with himself), and Drugs is killing that “evil” side of him to be better for his daughter (but realizing that his daughter might end up just like him because addictions tend to follow your children). This is how I interpret the flow of the visual story. Corey Taylor is the appearance in the video and he is the lead singer for Slipknot and Stone Sour. Another great band to react to! Electric Callboy is a must if you haven’t heard of them! Hypa Hypa is usually the introduction to them, but I would love to see Tekkno Train! I Prevail is also very good! Recommended lots of there stuff, but start with Bad Things or Deep End to ease in! Love your reactions! And I never put the Heroin line with the visual of his daughter together in that meaning!! So, as you pointed out, Ronnie had once done a lot with drugs and alcohol. He sobered up in prison and has tried to keep a sober life since. So a lot of Ronnie’s songs do talk about addiction and rehab, but really from a perspective of getting out of it. Not wanting the toxic life anymore. Corey Taylor (the featured singer) has a similar history with addiction and has been sober for something like 12 years. There is a growing list of rockers who are sober and supportive of each other… like Ivan Moody from Five Finger Death Punch and lots more.

Back when he was still with escape the fate there were videos of him battle rapping and freestyles with people on the sidewalk. He's always loved rap. He's got quite a few rap songs under his own name.

The end is a summary of all three, the overall message is that because of his mother’s addiction and then Ronnie’s addiction, everything comes full circle with willow needing to fight those same demons as she grows up

He has a live gig from the UK where it’s just him and a guitar and it’s some of the best vocal work you’ll ever hear and you’ll understand his natural tone. Would definitely recommend Electric Callboy, they're super talented and they just make really fun music. Hypa Hypa (the original, the remixes are cool, but nothing beats the original) or We Got the Moves would both be great songs to start with.

This is Ronnie's story. His mother used drugs, and he got hooked himself. She did not engage in education, and when Ronnie gained his first popularity, he went to prison, where he wrote many songs. The girl in the frame is his daughter. He's changed a lot. In this song, he forgave his mother, destroyed his old self and became a new person. In fact, he is a very interesting person. One thing about this song that gets overlooked a lot is the drummer(at least in the video.. can't recall if it's actually him on the song) is the drummer from another band called Black Veil Brides which just like Falling In Reverse it seems like everyone either loves or hates them n there's no middle ground... which.. personally I don't get cuz the band has never done anything problematic to my knowledge(I don't make a habit of keeping tabs on any celebrity's personal life)... anyway my point was you should also check out Black Veil Brides... they aren't musically on the level of Falling In Reverse but for their singer Andy Biersack alone they're worth checking out cuz his voice is so unique

Drugs is a social commentary on how everybody has their "drug" that their addicted to whether it's actual drugs, social media/validation, or chasing something like the American Dream.

And their music is amazing, they are one of my all time favorite bands. Definitely check them out, some songs to note from them are Spit It Out (Live in 2009, thats the best version), Psychosocial, and UnSainted. I will warn you that they do wear creepy masks and their videos are...different but I think you might like them or at least take a look at their music and videos

Love the content. And I know you said you don’t care for horror movies but you should try ICE NINE KILLS or Zero 9:36. They are a mix of metal and rap and have some very good songs

I'll give you the tech side of the drums. When working with electronic beats they have been run through a digitizer and a compressor. It'll sound good but will always lack the fullness of sound you get from the actual item. A real time experiment you can use is to play a song on a record, a cassette, a CD, and an mp3. Each one requires an additional layer of compression so the sound gets flatter. Hope this helps.

I know I'm late to this party, but this MV hits me hard.. the themes of battling yourself and generational substance abuse. I come from a line of addicts and unfortunately, that cycle didn't break with me. One of my favorite things about FIRs videos are the conversations they start about mental health and chemical dependency... and that they melt my fuckin face off lol

He says "that's what they said to me" because he was a drug addict and in a different band and then got in trouble, kicked out of the band and went to prison for a couple years and as with all addicts, the struggle to stay sober is internal. Falling In Reverse is way better than the band that threw him away!
