You watch Ted Lasso and think it can't possibly get any more wholesome and lovely. Then you see them all together and they're bigging each other up, Juno's helping Nick with his jacket and they all sing Happy Birthday to Jeremy's wife. What a wonderful group of people.
Rebecca is flawless. Rebecca and Keeley's relationship is brilliant. Ted's kindness is rejuvenating. Nate will be redeemed. And Roy is just an absolute Hug-of-a-bear. 💙
I love that Jason is the one to have a less reverential approach to the show at the end - 'lots of people smarter than me have said versions of that for centuries'. I also love that he says it's a choice every day for Ted to be positive and emotionally engaged. I wish we could see a full day of Ted genuinely being a selfish arse to everyone around him, just to highlight his positive choices on a 'normal' day.
I’m soooo bummed that I’ve finished the final season. I did not want it to end!! Please let there be at least a spin off. I’ll take anything with this cast! Anything!! Love love love!
@@junemaisel2520bummed means To be anally invaded without consent in the UK, unlike being disappointed or depressed like in the US. So very very big difference
I just came up with a theory for bringing it back. Beard shows up in a beat up old Deloreon and surprises Ted right after he and Michelle get remarried like 2 years after the end of the series. They do a beat for beat remake of the end of Back to the Future 1 with Beard saying he has to go back with him. Something happened and the team is a mess. It’s a bit silly but is also a callback to that scene where Beard references Back to the Future in Season 1 or 2. “Ronald Reagan? THE ACTOR?!?!” I think it would be fun.
Thank you Cristo for uploading this. I love the show and if I’m feeling a bit in need of some warm snuggly happiness I watch it again. Currently on my 5th or 6th run through. There isn’t a character that I don’t love, well apart from Rupert, and Jamie’s dad, but even there I can appreciate the skill of their performances. I also have the biggest girl crush on Hannah, and want her to be my friend too, and I am so happy to see the world discovering her awesomeness. As a rather short, round woman, I have dreams that somehow I will grow into a statuesque, curvaceous beauty like her, (with Rebecca Welton’s wardrobe,) and that I can sing like an angel. Ah well, we can’t have everything. Perhaps another viewing is required. 😊
@@chrisfuller2069 ha ha, I’ll take that as a compliment, and boy would that be a dream job. I’m sitting here trying to work out how they could squeeze me in. Not many roles for oldies like me, unless Ted develops a thing for older ladies. 😂😂😂😂
I wish it was given more praise in this interview, my favorite episode was "Trent Crimm: The Independent". That sold me on the show. And it sold all of my friends that I recommended it to. James Lance was amazing in this series and in this interview. Cheers.
56:13 I could not agree more. Every character brings so much to the table and Trent Crimm is one of my favorites. The episode that Roy shouts at him to have their chat and Trent jumps from being startled is perfect, I have played it about 20 times or more just for that one bit. I would love this show to go on forever. I simply. Any get enough!
that almost hour was the infusion of smiles and laughter I needed right now. Appreciate you for posting and appreciate everyone involved with Ted Lasso for bring us the magic of this show and the awesome sauce of this interview. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for what you add to the world!
My thoughts thoroughly. I watch the two seasons/series repeatedly... they cheer me & mend my days .. I can't wait for series 3 and hopefully 4, 5 & 6. Diane from Washington state USA.
Thank you, Cristo, from the bottom of my heart for uploading this video! You are such a STAR and you're only getting brighter!!! We all adore you and the entire cast of our beloved Ted Lasso!!!!
I think it is really interesting that they showed the tough parent-son relationships of jaimie and nate. Sometimes, people who are problematic have a tough background and are just trying to survive.
We need more Ted Lassos and Heartstoppers around. I mean, I love drama and thriller productions. From Allen to Tarantino, I love watch well written characters no matter the genre, but watching positive shows that don't rely on characters fighting against each other all the time makes me feel how necessary and refreshing they are. I love Scrubs so much, and Bill Lawrence as one of the creators did help set the tone to an incredible level. Kind of a surreal slice of life comedy that makes us appreciate small things that we usually don't care in our everyday life. I could feel some drama rising in 2nd season and a twist that will lead to a further conflict in a 3rd season, but I hope that the main positive concept remains no matter what.
I started rewatching S1 the other day for the first time after the initial watch and I laughed as hard as I laughed during the first watch and was touched even more by many things that I either not witnessed the first time or knowing where things are going I saw more things I couldnt see before. I LOVE THIS SHOW.
@@Seilolo I've finished it too and am sad as well it has ended. At the beginning of season 3 I was a bit disappointed, because I felt like there was a bit of fluff that filled the early season 3 which was sad, because the episodes are all longer than in seasons before but felt less interesting until a certain point of the season. But I tend to overanalyze stuff like that and not saying that everyone should think so. The 3rd season definitely found its way at some point and was as brillant as ever from then on. I'll definitely rewatch it again at some point and maybe we're lucky and there comes a spin-off of some sort, but who knows :)
Of the many pop culture references between Ted and Beard my two favorites are 1) the Deadwood hat tip of Beard telling Ted his fly is open when they appear in public the first time and Phoebe getting a pound for every swear word from her Uncle Roy and 2) the Minnie Pearl “Howdy Neighbor!”
I just got Apple TV a month ago and binged all three seasons of the show. It's so cool watching old interviews and seeing cast members as the actors they are. Kudos to the writers actors, and everyone involved is this fantastic show!
I love this show SO FREAKIN MUCH. I could feel the love and good energy every single episode. I love that line “What comes from the heart goes to the heart” No wonder my heart and soul always felt so replenished after each episode. I’m going to miss it lots. The world needs more! #season4please
at the end of the Day.. Hannah's Character was my favorite of the show.. Super beautiful, powerful, elegant, friendly, amazing woman.. prob a lot like herself.
I want to watch Season 1 & 2 again and can’t wait to watch Season 3 . It gives me some since of Hope in this Crazy World we are now living in . ❤️💔❤️☘️
This show is special! Im on some ted lasso fever sitting and watching interviews and commenting on RU-vid posts! 😅 but that’s what it’s done- just left an indelible mark in a mostly shittty world to just be better versions of ourselves and they honestly couldn’t have picked a more authentic and dedicated cast to do that :) more power to all these beautiful people and the joy they brought us! ❤
I saw an interview Sudeikis did where he was very humble and said that the show doesn’t feel like anything seminal to him, like a Citizen Kane or anything like that. I think he’s very wrong and it really is. The problem is that with it being on a streaming service like Apple it is limiting the viewership compared to a show even 10 or 15 years ago. I find it is absolutely one of the best pieces of television in over 30 years.
I love the line from Ted to Trent when he wants to write book, Ted says there is a box full of hair ties in the locker room knock yourself out. I wish they make a season 4. Nick Nathan didn't say much
I haven't even watched this show yet because it's an experience I have to share with my sister but in the mean time I'm failing at stopping myself from watching clips and bts and interviews, and spectacularly failing at stopping myself from falling in love with every single member of this cast. Tl;Dr help
I love this show and cast so much im starting to wonder if i'll become a writer, actor, producer someday 🤔🥰 they are such a great bunch. I feel represented by them!
It makes so much sense hearing that two of the episodes were written later and were not originally part of the narrative. That Beard After Hours episode was the weakest one in the entire show for me, makes sense that it was just something pulled together to fit in another episode.
@@silentbillkelly7276 I enjoyed it, I just think out of the entire show it was probably the one I enjoyed the least in some ways. It didn’t contribute to the storyline as far as I remember, but still had its moments.
It reminded me of the movie “After Hours” . Thank you Danny! You are my favorite. Oh…wait. Rebecca is my favorite. Oh no it’s definitely Sam. But then there’s Roy….Oh heck you are ALL my favorite
@@phillipedwardness9591 But it couldn't contribute, because they inserted it later. It's a tricky constraint, to write standalone episodes that keep the vibe moving.
Re “people have a burden that you can’t know,” Jason mentioned how disconnectedness is a cultural thing, that isn’t helping people’s mental health (and Hanna’s Rebecca’s armour in aloneness was mentioned too). The show was maybe that popular because of how-to of regularized warm connectedness. World’s not like that, (or it’s Western culture that isn’t). The show says, all these relationship hills and valleys, what people seek, wish were true, can be real if people take lessons. People may see the show as demo, learn how it’s done.
This is one of those rare times when the actors seem to truly love the characters and each other. Often meeting the actors behind the characters is disappointing - not here - they are lovely.
Well, now that I've finished watching Season 3, I gotta ask. Cristo - how did you guys film the scene where your face scored a goal? They were very smart with this seating arrangement, because Season 3 has some of the best of Dani Rojas, Sam Obisanya, and Isaac McAdoo moments.
Phil’s pink suit, when Jamie Is pulling Roy on streets of Amsterdam for strength training, he’s wearing shorts and sweatshirt same colour-whose choice?, (is that strange colour). Is that Phil’s personal fashion choice?
