Dr. Williams was my breast cancer surgeon and made my difficult journey (every cancer diagnosis is followed by a difficult journey) easier by taking the time to explain the process and options in layman's terms. I have recommended him to others many times. Thank you for providing this excellent resource! I state this time and time again: No one teaches you how to navigate cancer or make the best of a bad situation. Now there are two of us!
Just the reason why we created the Breast Cancer School for Patients. www.breastcancercourse.org It is so important to learn everything you need to know about breast cancer "during" your treatment, not "afterwards".
I wish I had had more information about colon cancer surgery that you performed on me back in 2000. You told me I'd be a survivor. I have been cancer free since then. Am having a hysterectomy done sometime soon to find out if there is cancer in my uterus, Sept. 2023. I'm praying that is not the case. Thank you for all you did for me. Wish you much success in your future. Stay well ! God bless you !
I just got diagnosed with Stage 1 Breast Cancer and felt scared, overwhelmed, and basically lost. Your Patient School helped me feel more at ease, knowledgeable, and in control of the decisions I will have to face going forward. Thank you for being an advocate and spreading your expertise about cancer in a way that is easy to grasp and understand so I can be the best advocate for myself. I can’t say enough how grateful that I found you and your channel, Much love and respect for what you are doing for me and others that face these medical diagnoses. If you were here right now I would give you the BIGGEST hug!
I want to THANK YOU for your Breast Cancer school series. It has helped me tremendously. I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Invasive Ductile Carcinoma in April of 2019, and just completed my 4 weeks of radiation today! Your series has been invaluable and I thank you for all the important work you do! God Bless you!
It is a long process. Go to the Breast Cancer School for Patients and take our specific lesson on “”Will I Need Radiation “. www.breastcancercourse.org/will-i-need-radiation/ I hope it helps.
I think this is a brilliant idea. If doctors and other subject matter experts partnered with a team of instructional designers, this could really take off. Additionally, having been through a nightmare of time with my Mom and the healthcare system since November 2022, I would go so far as to say a school for caregivers and advocates would be excellent. Great, great idea. Thank you for what you did for my Mom 23 years ago.
I recommend your channel to all my “Pink sisters”. The Education you provide is the best and most comprehensive that I’ve come across! Thank you for what you do!
