One of my favourite hymns in English, made even more beautiful in Māori. Beautifully sung.

12/24/22 Watched on Netflix this movie -"The Volcano" featuring the White Island Volcano Eruption heartbreaking, devastating, tragedy that gives us yet another reminder to love while you can. Fight on survivors and R.I.P. to the 22 souls who lost their lives to this unfathomable event. This song played at the end and I had to come here to find it. In this life we will have trials and tribulations but yes How Great Thou Art to see us through them all.

This hymn is the most beautiful expression of recognition to the magnificence of our God and I was listened in several languages, but when i listen it in Maori to the end of the documentary of Netflix I can feel something special from the Holy Spirit and i know that this singers are used by God to touch many souls because this language have somthing powerful and unic to touch the hearts and move the souls closer God. God Bless You.

This is by far the most amazing song ever sung at the NZMA. Bravo to whoever choose for this song to be played. I wish I could have been in the crowd to watch it. I watched from home on tv and my eyes were so teary. Such an evoking song. This cover was played as my uncles casket was brought into his funeral.

The last note has faded... but the power and feeling had made me cry and smile at the same time as I am sitting here looking out the window....

mmm I wonder why we singing "How Great Thou Art". This song has NOTHING to do with emotion, and is supposed to glorify God and his greatness. An Elton John song would have been more appropriate lol- but oh well I like it
