We went to Memphis for a wedding last November, it was our first visit to Memphis. From what we had seen after entering the city, not surprised that the crime rate is so high. The couple moved to another state the first of this year, mainly because of the rising crime. Both met at the school they were attending in Memphis many years ago. I had looked forward to visiting Memphis, now it's just 1 more city I will never visit again along with San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, Austin, all because of the crime rates and leniency on criminals.
