Why was the kid standing on the road. case closed, idiots who stand on the road need to become pavement paint. Americans really are single digit iq troglodytes. "There was an accident, why is police there" god you are beyond belief.
There is no doubt in my mind that the police were in route to catch the idiots who ran the scene because of the hit and run and stolen car. I guess you didn’t quite put 2 + 2 together after hearing the situation. It doesn’t excuse the mistake by the officer who hit the bystander though.
@@jeffreygoss8109 Is that true? I have always wondered if infractions and crime were easier to get away with in the rain, but then I figured police probably are "on top of things" even when it's raining. Am I incorrect in thinking this?
Let me guess. He was a officer of the month, of the year. loves his kids and after the police investegate them selfs the conclusion is he did nothing wrong and gets a promotion.
That cop started "damage control lies" before he got out of the car. He'll be cleared and the kid will get a ticket and have to pay for the damage to the car. Cop will get a paid vacation and an award
@AndyJayroe if you had been there and called 911 to get medical assistance the cop would have arrested you for raising a false public alarm. I bet police radii chatter would have revealed cops saying the kid had limited value.
“Wishes him a speedy recovery,” while the reckless cop gets paid vacation, and we investigate ourselves and find no wrongdoing. Any citizen would have been issued a citation immediately, and would not take months to investigate. They have to protect “The Blue Line Gang.”
@@_DB.COOPERthis is exactly what administrative leave means. At least that’s what it’s meant nearly every other time in police history. If they find wrongdoing, it’s not a criminal charge but some sort of written reprimand. In a lot of cases, police will say the discipline isn’t public record, but “trust us. We handled it.”
@@_DB.COOPER Retired firefighter/paramedic here, son, with 22 years service. Based upon personal experience and statistically - pointing to prior practice in Elyria and around the nation - that's a likely outcome. If there were no independent video, that would almost certainly be the outcome. As the old saying goes, "Being a cop means never having to say you're sorry." Where did I first hear that? From my father - the cop.
@@ahmrahtcheer retired Federal Agent of 30 years here kid, administrative leave doesn’t mean you’re on paid vacation. Reading comprehension much? Don’t you have a truck to wash or a hose to roll. Smh…
Exactly they will say the kid was at fault and leaped in front and he had no time to respond and was in too much shock to use his "training" to apply first aid. You noticed he didn't do anything that's because they tell them not to the department knows as soon as he touches the kid they have a lawsuit. But without touching him they can blame it on the kid
At a crash scene there could also be dazed and confused people wondering around it that were in the crash themselves maybe with concussions and such. Officer appears to be going too fast through there.
Better question, why didn't the kid look both ways before blindly jumping infront of a moving vehicle? If it wasn't a cop, the kid would still be at fault too lol
@@TheBloodshotFilmsThe cop went up on the curb. why was he driving that fast with all of those people around and the accident being there. The was reckless as hell.
Because, the reality is , cops don't actually ' care ' about citizens, or their ' safety ' ..🙄 Or how their day is going , what kind of mood your in , etc , etc. Cops are not here to be our buddies and friends. The only safety cops care about , is their own .
@@TheBloodshotFilmsshowing your an ass right! Hey stupid the kid was running to his house to get something to help a victim. You should be questioning why the cop was flying, are you a cop or do you lick boots.
@@petergeh9584 True and dumb people are allowed to walk in front of a speeding vehicle and if you don’t look before walking past a stopped vehicle, you get to become a road pizza like this kid.
Yeah, nice try, but that's not how it works. The police must first investigate themselves and then release the statement that they did nothing wrong. Are you new to this country?
NOTHNG will happen to the police , absolutely nothing . the city may have to make a settlement with the boys family but the cop will found not at fault .
there is still plenty of time to charge the teen... and the one who took the video and released it, since both obviously hindered a police investigation. the teen ought be charged with felony hit and run and eluding... since he fled the scene of the impact....
Crashed cars and dozens of people standing around and this fool speeds through with no siren. Just more incompetence and EVIL from those that pretend to serve us...
I dont think it was necessarily evil. Just an accident. The officer probably got a call thru the radio that there was a sighting of the suspects running away near by, and he may have been trying to speed off to catch them. He likely forgot to turn on his siren during the haste. Regardless, I feel really bad for the teenage victim and hope he has a speedy recovery.
@@NemeanLion- People with zero empathy for others are evil. We've seen plenty of examples of police without empathy. Take the 400 or so in Uvalde who felt their safety was more important that the safety of children. Just like this fool thought catching a "bad guy" is more important than the safety of children.
Don't worry, the Elyria PD will investigate themselves and clear the officer of any wrongdoing in the accident. Also, the teen will be charged for damaging city property. Business as usual for the blue line thugs!
Probably more like she knows she shouldn't have been standing in the street shooting video. Remember, if you don't break the law, you won't have to make excuses.
@@markmalasics3413Wrong, cops arrest and brutalize innocent people every day. She was also on the other side of the street, safe and legal. How does that boot taste?
Omg! Why was that cop speeding through a crash site? That is traumatizing to see and I can only hope the teen is able to recover. The cop should be fired. Fired! No paid vacation during a 10 month investigation. Fired now. Citizens need to demand that he not carry a badge anymore
Who said he was speeding? Did you fully pay attention to the video or did you only see what your preconceived biases wanted to see? You can clearly see this cruiser along with another one pulling up onto the scene and they weren't speeding. They probably both came to a complete stop. Then there's missing footage because it then showed these people standing on the side. The officer then put on his lights and chose to go after the suspect. Kinda interesting how in this moment the teen decided to try and walk in front of the cop and at the same time the person filming went from filming the ground to snapping onto him right as he did this. People will do anything for a lawsuite. I could be wrong. Once the body cam and dashcam release that will show the truth. However knowing how the media works they won't do that.
@@KnightsGloryy bad cops make all cops jobs harder. And, yes my brother and nephew are both on the job. Insurance? Seriously? “I’ll go jump in front of this speeding car and maybe get paid?” I’m weird? The dashcam will show a running kid popping out of nowhere because the kid was running across a quiet street in front a wrecked car next to the sidewalk. There was no way he even saw the cruiser coming, that is obvious. Neither the cop or the kid saw each other. Why was he speeding? That is the only question. Stop being so reflexively defensive. We have the right to question law enforcement, this is not a authoritarian dictatorship
I agree, but the sad part is the taxpayers are going to pay for this. It’s not gonna come out of the cops pension or the police unions funds. In fact, they’ll probably promote the bastard.
You can't blame the cop for this..he had his lights on and the kid stepped towards the vehicle from a blind spot where the wrecked car was..why the hell was that dumb kid in the road and why the hell would he jump or walk in front of any vehicle coming from the other direction..kids these days are so ignorant..i hope he is ok but the kid should be cited for this for sure
Seeing the kid get up and run a short distance then collapse had me thinking he wasn't going to be with us much longer. Adrenaline powers the body for that short final burst in animals and auto collisions. Cop was just plain stupid flying into an accident scene with many civilians milling about. Stolen car with runners doesn't give him the right to disregard community safety.
And the kid will get a jaywalking ticket from the irresponsible cop, right ?? And all he does is ask if the kid is OK ??? He should be suspended without paying for six months !!!
No it's the person's fault )))))))))))) He did it to himself ! He already saw one cop car go past him . Look at the video again , far left hand side . He was standing behind the crashed car the speeding cop car had it's sirens on lights blinking . He then decides to walk out from behind the crash vehicle There is no way that cop saw him .
At what point do people realize that you should look both ways since one car just went thru there and the Media shows what they want to fit their narrative...Let's Go Brandon!
Accept that the kid was in the road and ran in front of the wreck in a blind spot. I get he was tryn to help but you "look both ways before you cross". 🤠👌🏼
The police did an investigation and found no wrongdoing, the teen and his family will be harassed if they choose to file a lawsuit, he had absolutely no right to help people in need.
I bet that kid learns to look both ways from now on before crossing the street, especially if he is dashing out into the street from behind a "parked" car.
Hold that cop accountable for hitting this child. You didn’t had no siren going while speeding through a neighborhood. Bet they say our officer did nothing wrong and place blame on the child.
Looks like they're both at fault. Cop driving too fast through an accident scene and the kid for running across the street and not seeing the lights on the police car flashing
How long will people continue to relay on cops who always keeps getting away with everything and cops expected us to clean up their messes. Cops need to stop pretending to protect and serve and stop pretending that they show compassion to other innocent people. Some people knew how the cops were. They all need to stay true to their words.
I'm legitimately surprised they didn't try and charge the kid they ran over with obstructing an officer and interfering. Don't worry; The department will investigate themselves and find no wrong doing.
I’m surprised the cop didn’t jump on the team and start yelling “ stop resisting stop resisting” and then start arresting everybody at the scene. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Cop was at fault at least partially; but the kid should have looked both ways before crossing the street! It was an open part of the street, if the kid would have just looked to his right as one should do when crossing a street he wouldn't have been hit.
Speeding thru a crash scene. No sirens . Driving on the grass which is public.. cop fuked up. Kid is about to get paid. Officer keeps his job with a slap on the wrist....
Are you fucking serious? That asshole cop was flying thru an accident site with NO SIREN! If you're trying to excuse that punk cops ineptitude then you're a boot licking bitch.
Still doesn’t count for speeding through an accident scene with no sirens to make people aware of his/ her negligence. That poor boy didn’t hear it coming & they shouldn’t have been speeding past an accident anyway. Here we go again.$$$$$$
Well, if they were white, they would have that all plastered on the screen. Im guessing black car thieves and a hispanic cop. Seems to be the theme all across America post obama lmao.
