The orgin of the song is that Tatiana has struggled with Season affective disorder. Which is that the lack of light can effect peoples mental health during the winter months. This can cause depression and even more serious issues.
Also....as a few have already noted, you missed the end. She gives a departing speech as well and you can really tell how winded she was.... BUT you wouldn't know had she just walked off the stage. Her breath control is crazy good.
@@AaliyahCapili you're welcome and no worries. I understand you're young and learning.... (per your disclaimer).. I have made that mistake before of ending videos too quickly. Luckily I learned by the time I got to Jinjer's video of this song at wacken. Speaking of which, there is also a video available from this same show, they performed Picses right before Perennial. Audio quality isn't as good as in this one, but still enjoyable. If you want to hear more of their live music, they released "Live in Melbourne". Has their most popular tracks.
@@kevinfeeney5309 thanks so much for your understanding💕someone gave me a link of their concert in Melbourne, I will definitely do in the future💕🤗💕thank you so much
As impressive a singer as Tatiana is, what really impresses me about this is the fact that they are on the last song of a long and energetic set, and she still sounds amazing. That goes for the whole band. They are such an incredible band.
Very good reaction. This song is about how she will overcome her seasonal depression and return to normal live, like the return of the perennial flowers in spring. Besides being a great vocalist, Tatiana is also a very good lyricist. I recommend "Teacher, Teacher" (OMV) for a next reaction. 💙💛🌻
This has got to be one of the better reactions on this song I've actually seen. This taught me to how to appreciate the finer points of Tatiana's vocal techniques. Thank you for this excellent review.
Awww thanks so much Mr. Rahim, for your kind words and appreciation. I hope i had improve from my last one🙏your feedback means a lot to me🤗🤗🤗much appreciated♥️
@@AaliyahCapili You have been doing great all along. My trifling feedback should not cause you any concern. After all, you are popular because you have been yourself all along. Despite my feedback holding no significance, I shall continue to comment as it is my nature to do so. Just understand that sometimes I comment honestly, and sometimes I comment in jest. Please do not take my words too seriously.
@@RahimRahmat awww its really okay, i really appreciate all feedbacks. I am grateful for each one, who took the time to write and share their insights and views, as it will help me to keep on improving both in my singing and in my channel🤗i really have lots of things that i want to improve, hopefully this summer, when there is no school🤗🌺🤗have a great day always Mr. Rahim♥️
Thanks!! It is always fun to see people learn to love the talented Tatiana and the musicians of Jinjer. They are amazing performers. Keep the great analysis and appreciation of singers coming
Wow your videos are getting better and better. By that i mean your expression with english and how you analyze in general. I wish you well in all your success on youtube and your singing!
Oh wow thanks so much for your wonderful feedback🙏I am grateful for all the feedback given, so that I can keep on improving. Thanks again and much appreciated🌺
Another great Jinjer reaction! I love your insight. Jinjer is one of those rare bands that's even better live. Tatiana has put the work in and is in full command of her voice. I also think you would enjoy her one take vocal performance of "Judgement (& Punishment)".
Soon as she started singing I said oh yes I remember her ha ha. I enjoyed this one. Yes she has great stage presence I would have to steer clear of the mosh pit ha ha. I grew up near Seattle during the grunge era. I know them well. Went to school with Nirvana. Always enjoy your reactions. Love your friendly smile and voice.
You may not be an expert, as your disclaimer states, but you definitely seem to be knowledgeable when it comes to singing. Great reaction young lady!I suggest that you check out Who is Gonna be the one live for your next Jinjer reaction.
Who ever that spirit is that's with you is very persistent. It shows up again in this video at the 2:17 mark. P.S. love your reactions to Jinjer videos!!
I'll suggest Wallflower off of their new album. The beginning of the song features a lot of Tatiana's clean vocals. The video and lyrics are about Tatiana's procrastination when it comes to laying down new lyrics for the new songs.
Love your reactions. While you are very humble about your knowledge, it is obviously greater than 99% of all reactors. I especially enjoy your clear and careful diction. It projects an authority that not many speakers, much less YT reactors, have.
Great reaction. Considering your background, I might suggests some other talented metal singers : Floor Jansen of Nightwish, and Simone Simons of Epica, both of who I believe are classically trained singers, who now sing in metal bands.
Hi Aaliyah, I thought you might like Devin Townsend. Devin has a huge vocal range, great fun personality, an absolute master of his craft. Devin can scream in tune & in a flick of a switch can sing beautiful cleans and sing like an opera performer. Most people start with Kingdom live at EMGTV, Deadhead at the Royal Albert hall & Why? From his quarantine show are all great.
I think you would enjoy reacting to MergingMoon - Greyen (Live clip official). They are a Japanese band with English lyrics and their lead vocalist Yu Umehara is one of my favourite (female) metal vocalists! Huge range of different sounds!
there are so many very good gutturals of women, without a doubt "tatiana's" is among the best, alissa and angela's, from "arch enemy", they are also spectacular, I also like "courtney's" from "spiritbox", although they are a little different
..cool reaction..love the comparison to opera...so true...she is a vocal gymnast on a cirque du soleil level for sure....be great to see your take on her one take of "judgement and punishment"...up close view of her use of that amazing talent...thanks...peace....
Just started following, and felt like Cradle of Filth would be along these lines. Nymphetamine would be a good one to start. Since your a vocalist, my main suggestion would be ANYTHING involving Mike Patton. His vocal range is on another level, & is so adapted to doing anything that it's unbelievable! Mondo Cane is a project he did with an orchestra covering 50s & 60s Italian pop songs. I would suggest Deep Down, or Urlo Negro since he puts so much energy into them. Good luck with your channel, & I hope to see it grow.
Thanks for your great technical analysis of this performance. For the last song of their set I’m amazed at the power she can summon! I was hoping you can help me understand how James Hetfield of Metallica can be effective with a limited range. The Thing that Shouldn’t Be live in Seattle’89 is a great example. Fade to Black in Mexico City is another option. Although not a fan have to shout out Iron Maiden’s Hallowed Be Thy Name live. Their singer is know by the moniker’ the human Air Raid Siren!
Jinjer is on top of the stairs to heaven..or ...hell. As I'm Dutch recommand you another Dutch amazing 'fairy tale' gothic metal band called Blackbriar One of their stunning songs is Deadly Diminuendo: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-G6YFa05L2A8.html
Purely curious, have you listened to Unleash The Archers yet? ("Awakening" is the classic that plenty of people react to, but you might like "Abyss", "Soulbound". Her range in "Tonight We Ride" is something else too.) I ask because Brittney did a cover of Brindisi with Lords of the Trident that we would certainly value your opinion on. Keep up the good work!!
i´ll mention here as well as i´ve noticed many also started reacting to King Diamond Sleepless Nights Live at The Fillmore (OFFICIAL) you´ll be in for a supprise
Really enjoy your reactions to Tatiana and Jinjer. Would love for you to react to a band called "Poets of the Fall" ...song is "Rebirth". Classically trained singer, full acoustic live performance with cello, violins, piano and acoustic guitars. Link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HltxMawzfnw.html
Hi Aaliyah ! Wow, what a great reaction video... you are into very different styles and genres of music and I like that a lot. I really enjoyed this video... may I remind you of my suggestion ? Please react to Aurora : Lucky - Live at Nidarosdomen... believe me, it will leave a big impression on you... in every way (acoustically AND optically). Best wishes from Germany : Gerry
Ohhh thanks so much again, so sorry I was not able to do your suggestion, may I ask if its Teacher Teacher? I will definiitely do that in the future💕💕💕thanks so much again for your support🌺
Hello, Mr. Dias, i will definitely have reactions on Dimash in the future🌺😍🌺I will just do my best to check out on all of the wonderful performances that was suggested but I love Dimash, and will definitely react on his wonderful performances too🌺😍🌺take care always🌺
Keep going down the Jinjer rabbit hole, but let me suggest another metal vocalist that is just as shocking: Devin Townsend. Typically people start with his song “Kingdom” live for EMGtv and then “Deadhead” live Royal Albert Hall. If you don’t believe me, look at the faces of everyone who reacts to it. You’ll even see people weep and hyperventilate because his music can be very emotional.
