I know how it is man, I crashed my bike into a guard rail a month ago. Broke my leg, ankle, foot and all my toes. My foot was half attached and I severed the tendon that lets u lift ur foot up and down. They were able to stitch my foot back to my leg and they tied both ends of that tendon together and put a metal cap to keep it from coming undone. I still have more surgeries awaiting me, including having to get a couple toes amputated but I feel super lucky even though I’ll probably never walk as good as I use to

I remember reading a study that says those feelings tend to go away after 2 years or so. Sometimes the positivity honestly feels way too forced. As long as you can find peace, that's important no matter your situation.

I don't think he lost use of his arms. The break was lower down, so his arms weren't affected from the spinal damage. They may have had other damage from the crash, but it wasn't from his spine. In some cases people can regain function, but it's highly variable.

bike is safe if you use it for travel instead of doing circus with it

idk man. He pretty much flat out admits it was his fault and he simply did not pay close enough attention to the condition of the track. And he's ultimately the outlier; many people suffer crashes and getting thrown off and can still walk away. He was unfortunately not lucky enough to do so.
