idk I disagree. Scott is, overall, a very stagnant character after season one, and even in season one he had barely any character growth. the only thing that changes from season one to season two is the fact that Scott no longer wants to get rid of his lycanthropy, he accepts that he can't. that's honestly the extent of Scott's growth as a character. he persists with his incessant "no kill ever for any reason" attitude as if there is never a justification for killing someone. he is constantly made weaker than other members of his pack which really calls into question his leadership abilities at times. and honestly his character arc is kind of boring. I also think that of the actors on the show, Tyler Posey is one of the weaker ones. which, if he wasn't the main character, would be fine. but you kind of have to have the best actor as the main character or the disparity between them and the side characters becomes glaringly obvious. what's worse is that the best friend of the main character is arguably the best actor on the show. to the point that Dylan can actually make other actors in a scene look worse than they are because of how good he is. and maybe that's just my personal opinion but whatever. Scott can honestly be so insufferable at times. we never really get any justification for why he refuses to kill people other than "killing bad", yet he uses that excuse in situations where it arguably wouldn't be bad. he tries to save everyone all the time and it puts more lives in danger.

@@winchesters4life34 what’s funny is that Dylan O’Brien completely disagrees with you lol. you can think that, I’d just recommend rewatching the show from a Scott-positive perspective, maybe then you’ll understand why I love his character. the fandom is so anti-Scott that I don’t care to put energy into this kind of discourse lmfaoo, I’m very happy analyzing the show alongside other Scott fans. I love Scott McCall’s character, AND his growth, AND his actor, AND what his storyline means to me (which is something that will never change). if you feel otherwise, that’s fine, please just take that to someone else next time! I myself am mostly definitely not your target audience lol.
