Season 3 was clearly the top of Teen Wolf, both parts, A and B. The storylines, the acting, everything was so good. Even the writter said that this season was the most complex to writte, and damn they did a good job. I wish that I could watch it again as if it was for the first time.
The fact that Scott stood by his own rule( we are not killers or mosters) till the end , despite everything he had to face with his pack ..that just makes him a true alpha who never had to steal anyone's power.. ♥️
Not really. If anything it showed Deucalion’s character a little. He knew if Scott killed her the power of the True Alpha would be lost. So he ‘killed’ her himself knowing he was already tainted.
Scott was a true alpha but after this episode we never saw anything special about him. His baiter beat the crap out him! I feel like the writers should've tapped more in unleashing what's special about the true alpha.
Liam beat the shit outta him because he had wolfsbane in him and he didn't want to hurt liam and he always holds back because he's afraid that he is gonna become peter in season 1
He did do a lot of special things . It’s just him holding back and trying not to kill anyone . Remember when the beginning of the dread doctors , that first chimera they sent , he let him get tired and started dodging all the attacks then broke his bone and told him to run. Same thing with Peter at Church . The special thing about Scott is he always stands back up, he can take a lot of punches and scratches.
Scott didn’t become a true wolf by being the best fight, the most ruthless, etc. He became a true alpha through strength of character. WHICH YOU WOULD KNOW IF YOU ACTUALLY WATCHED THE SHOW BECAUSE THEY SAID IT ABOUT FIVE TIMES HOLY CRAP.
I like how everyone is shitting on Scott McCall when out of every person here he's the most worthy. Some of you may think him not killing anyone is "Bad Writing" or "Not Badass" but Scott isn't the kind of character or wolf who favors killing even when justified. That's what special and worthy about him, he thinks that nobody deserves to die. He just wants peace, he can be a badass and a strict Alpha when he wants to be. He just chooses not to because he doesn't want to be like Peter, a sociopathic controlling Alpha who betrayed his family and pack by killing his niece and then trying to kill his former beta (Scott). Scott McCall is an amazing character and I honestly adore him! He's amazing.
I agree with this but I feel like some fans hate that this was his only real True Alpha moment. A True Alpha is supposed to be this rare type of wolf and we got nothing. They probably hate the writing more but they're taking it out on the character. The thing that made me angry with the character is that Scott trusted Theo, someone they hadn't seen since they were kids and randomly shows up as Scott is being attacked, over Stiles, his best friend since childhood who has been a big part of them handling the supernatural problems.
It was so freaking awesome. He was a true alpha, he was supposed to be one hell of a wolf (he was) but still the show went downward from that and we never got to see the real potential of Scott. Such a waste but still an amazing moment.
whats the point in being a ''true alpha'' if you have the same strenght as a regular werewolf, not even the strenght of an alpha, I guess it just changes the color of eyes.. stupid writers
@@PredatorH2O you mean his plot armor is faster and stronger, if scott mccall was some random werewolf he would be long cut in half, he isn't strong enough to fight someone of notice by himself but somehow he always survives. he survives Peter Alpha, he survives Deucalion and his pack, he survives Kate and bersekers, he survives a bunch of well trained hunters and the list goes on
@@ouremberstillburninginside858 I didn't mean throughout the whole series. Obviously he wasn't even a true Alpha from the start. He was just a beta up until this scene. Then he had to discover his new powers. You can see a part of his full potential when he effortlessly beats Peter later on.
Truly impressive, the amount of real-life wolf-pack research the writing team must've done for this scene. Note how the 'alpha' of the pack bares his teeth slightly, just before he pushes through the wobbly magic wall to get at the melty vampire lady. Now that's dedication to zoological realism.
cuz they're not the True Alpha. people like Scott have incredible rare gift, True Alpha's can only occur once in a 100 years. they'd channel their powers through their will but mostly many people like Derek or Peter inherit the title by killing someone who is an Alpha themselves hence stealing their powers. there's another method but idk how to explain it.
I love people using the "he was holding back" excuse to justify Scott's hundreds of lost fights. The only fight Scott won on his own was against Peter in church.
A part of me pitties Jennifer. I mean she was betrayed, mutilated and left to die. What she did was not right and I know she is the villian but still... Evil isn't born. Evil is created.
many folks mistake the fact that he became an alpha through raw strength of character and by the force of his own will its not about the power and the strength but how he rised as a character and always looked after his friends and the people that he cared about
Twitch Nero0 could you record the scene when scott is hanging from a tree in front of the sheriff and the scene where dylan o’brien duct tapes scott’s hands together at the school fields ?
@@iqbalmiah4689 lmao what?😂 There are shows like originals, game of thrones, breaking bad and others that are knows for thier great acting and epic scenes...to say this is one of the best scenes is an insult to masterpieces..and by your comment I've already guessed that you haven't watched many series.... except for teen dramas
@@gokulsiriah7941 ive seen originals. GoT and the rest.....maybe its just a misunderstanding but let me clarify. When i said one of the most epic scene. I meant in this particular show. 🙂🙃
I think they should of made him become more of a beast, for example when he was fighting against the hunters in season 4 when the deadpool was happening, his face began to shapeshift more into a monster. They should of made him fully transform into a full beast so he could fight the Beast of Gévaudan fairly, it would’ve made the season better
Because he was scared. He was scared what that power would make him and what he could do. He was afraid of becoming like Peter and every other power hungry Alpha he’s known. So he’s never really wanted to tap into that power he has as a True Alpha. But we do see moments where his power slips through form his control.
If I remember correctly, next time he tries was in season 5 but it happened while he was poisoned with wolfsbane and weakened so he could do it, later he tries once again in Eichen house but by then his pack was just getting back together, he still was weak after coming back to life for being dead for 15 minutes, and his wounds weren't fully healed yet, in both cases he was extremely weakened, and Scott itself says that the first time he did it (this one) it almost killed him. As far as we know Scott is the only supernatural creature that is able to break a mountain ash barrier with pure force of will, but he needs to be at his peak to do so or he could end up at death's door, after all, it must require an incredible amount of power to just push the barrier without being tossed back like a ricocheting ball.
The fact that there is no such thing as an alpha wolf and the term is made up and this show focuses on that aspect and actually makes it work is pretty good in its own way.
Honestly Jennifer is one of my favourite villains I mean she started off good and was corrupted and had so much more depth to her. A depth that showed how and why she became so corrupt and heartless
what a stooopid reach Klaus is hybrid (vamp/wolf) Scott is a simple werewolf, Klaus made a full time hobby out of killing ppls, and would have surely kill anybody to gain an alpha status in teen wolf terms, on the other side Scott refused this method and became a alpha (true alpha to be exact) by the strength of his character (which doesnt had to be only psychical)
I really thought someone was so dumb to do the same things like Scott, I mean trying to break the mountain ash thing. And then, I realise it was his shadow. I never feel so dumb...
yeah and after all the hype of how powerful a true alpha is all Scott did after becoming a true alpha was get his ass kicked....smh they really did him dirty
@@boohlehope-gk8ht criticizing movies and other different forms of art has been in existence for far too long, where have you been living? Certainly not earth
This was so underwhelming. I mean they tried to make such a big deal out of Scott becoming an alpha by sheer force of will, and I just wasn't invested.
