Really? I don't like them because of the cat/mouse thing at all. it's the contrary. I love them together because I think, even if it's not visible on the first impression, that they are equals. They are both absolutely necessary to the plot and to each other. hell, Derek is probably a lot more dependent on Stiles than vice versa. because everyone would just flip their shit without him and Derek's life would fall apart even further. they'd have rogue werewolves running around everywhere.
