I've got the KO Ii and it is intuitive and fun. I'm blown away by how powerful the Seqtrak is, though, for not much more money

I've got the Seqtrak and so far I don't regret it. From now on it will only get better thanks to the firmware updates that are yet to come. Thumbs up for the Seqtrak!

That's awesome! It's new enough that there's not a lot of direct user feedback yet. We bought the EP-133 when it came out, and I'm glad we did because I feel like I would have scooped up the SEQTRAK instead -- the sequencer is in my comfort zone and the drum pads on the KO II aren't. But now I get to learn the KO II AND maybe I'll buy the SEQTRAK anyway! WIN WIN!

I'm torn between these two....I would use it at live gigs in small, dark underground places...along with a few other devices (circuit Rhythm and Uno Synth Pro)... doing noisy, lofi stuff...which is best in your opinion?

The Seqtrak is arguably more powerful, especially if you don't care about the drum pads. We bought the KO II before Seqtrak came out and enjoy it for the quirkiness.

Oh please. I can read feature lists just fine. What they sound like when programming the exact same thing each, now that would have been interesting.

there are plenty of sound demos on other channels, but the KO II isn't really about sounds. It's a sampler primarily, and it's about spontaneity and composition. We haven't played the Seqtrak but I think it's similar -- the point is the interface more than the sound. Neither is a particularly deep sound creation engine.

Sounds like a win win either way you choose. This is a good case for why capitalism and competition are good for the consumer.

Honestly these two are different enough that there's probably room for both in some setups

For the consumer yes, but not for the people.

Here's the video that convinced us to buy the KO II. The Yamaha has very Electribe vibes, and we may just ave to pick that one up too ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yeafE30nIC4.html
