I really couldn't see how this box could work for me but you got to the top of the rollercoaster when you started sampling and a whole world of possibilities opened up right there.❤
THANK GOD that they didn’t slap a $1000 price tag on it. Scratches the itch for a portable/battery powered sampler with a speaker. And it’s a beautiful piece of hardware 😊
I can't unsee the 1980's desk calculator, but maybe that's a great thing. I was mad at TE for awhile because of their price points. Now I'm reeeeeellled back in. Great design at an affordable price. Thank you so much for this great demo. I love your speed and flow.
Nick has the best against the clock episode of all time. It totally inspired me to make music in a different way with a truly hybrid studio setup and raw impulsive creativity.
What up Nick! Doubt you remember this but you taught me how to use the original OP-1 IRL about 10 years ago at the MoMa store in Soho. Learned everything I needed to know in about 20min. I bought one that same day and never looked back. I've used it on every album i've released since then. I've been hitting a brick wall trying to learn the KO2 but this video has unlocked the key for me-you've done it again bro! Thank you. I hope TE is cutting you checks regularly, lol
@thespacepit thanks for the video. Just would like to know, if your created this wicked sound that’s with 3 pads can you sample that. As in resample. Can you adjust the sample rate and can you record input whilst play backing a pad? 😊
Awesome work, Nick Hook. Share your other equipment, show your workflow - keep the videos coming, if it’s your interest and you have the time and energy.
I heard the dogs on the background and I was like that sounds like my house hehe. Dude I have a studio with fun instruments in a cozy cabin in Santa Helena. You are welcome anytime. Cheers@@thespacepit
Appreciate the run through although the incessant tapping of buttons during each part of the explanation makes it difficult to really see what you're doing.
Dude. The dog. I couldn’t make it all the way through. A dog should only bark when alerting. Hopefully it’s your neighbor’s, and if it is you should say something. A video about sound and music is kinda ruined by an untrained yappy dog.
