Out of the 25 ABBA songs Chase has reacted to so far, I think his favourite went from "Gimme Gimme Gimme" to "Super Trouper", then to "As Good As New" (which had him declare "screw "Super Trouper'"!) then to "Take a Chance on Me", and now "If It Wasn't For the Nights".. Did I miss any? And I gotta say, it's great that he doesn't just do video reactions, coz he's obviously enjoying a lot of the album tracks!
Arrival defined them and they got better and better. Voulez Vous, Super Trouper and The Visitors are phenomenal albums where they took their creativity to a different level, and Voyage is right up there with these albums, 40 years later.

Pure ABBA disco! The first "Ohhhh... So Baaaad" is Agnetha 🩷. The second one is Frida❤. In the Japan TV performance of this song, the outfits are really stunning! The boys with kimonos, and the girls ... just amazing... Linda Carter's style😊 ( the originsl TV's Wonder Woman). About your question...: For many people, 'Voulez Vous ' is the best album.... This is probably the most classy song, ABBA ever did. The albums are all different and you can follow the development of the band throughout their career. They get more and more sophisticated production wise, vocals, lyrics etc.

Love all Abba songs but apart from Dancing Queen this definitely is a huge favorite of mine. As for albums, Super Trouper is a great album too. One of my favorites by them.

Yes, "Voulez-Vous" album is good, as all Abba albums are, but imo "The Visitors", "Arrival", "Super Trouper" are better. However, ALL from 1st to last, are good in their own way, and shows Abba's musical progression. Great Chase that enjoying your Abba journey. Great channel. 👍
This was to have been the lead single from the Voulez Vous album and was showcased at the end of 1978 but that honour went to Chiquitita instead. Would have been great if they had done an extended version of this like they did with Voulez Vous.

I think "Voulez Vous" has to their best Album, every single track is banger and could have been a hit single. However "Arrival" runs it pretty close in that respect although "Super Trouper" is also fantastic and closer in style to "Voulez Vous" I would say. "ABBA the album" and "The visitors" are both fantastic as well and "ABBA" and "Voyage" are both great. In other words you can't go wrong with ABBA. 😍
Hey,hey! you just stated my favest Abba albums!Pecisesly,VV/ST/A.Then The Album/The Visitors for darker moods/ABBA i like too and of course 'Voyage'.Now this last one is a category on its own for me.Cause it just pulls the strings for such emotional reasons.Each time i listen this 'imperfect" album i end up wet eyed by the time 'Ode to Freedom' comes to an end.
@@alexioverdo5225 Ha ha I cried a river the first time I heard "don't shut me down" and "I still have faith in you" Just hearing Agnetha and Frida's voices again with something new and the band being back together was very emotional. I don't care for celebs or TV much but there is something special about ABBA and Agnetha will be my eternal crush.

I think I'd place this album third out of their discography but it's a difficult call tbh since most of their albums are absolutely stacked with great songs

This album is their most 'disco'. Later on they go more to synth based arrangements. Every album is very different, but also the songs on it. They have around 125 songs and 120 are good to brilliant in my opinion. Hard to say it is their best album. It depends on your mood or taste I guess.
So what are the 5 songs didn't make the "Good to Brilliant" category? Let me make some guesses; "King Kong Song", "Nina Pretty Ballerina" and "Dum Dum Diddle". Did I get any?

@@SapphireZucchini-xb3vr "Dum dum diddle" suffers from the childish lyrics but once you get over that it is actually pretty decent. There is no redeeming King Kong Song. There were few on the New album that were sort of meh, but Just a notion, I still have faith in you and Don't shut me down are all classic ABBA
I love your reaction as always! But to be honest this is not one of my favorite songs by ABBA. Voulez-Vous is my least favorite album, though there are some great songs from this album. You just keep being you, and keep on doing honest reactions, and you'll be fine. YOU ROCK!
What's their "best" album totally depends on your personal taste. My favourite is their 1981 album _The Visitors_ (and the concert they gave the same year). But I also love some of their early tunes, like _My mama said, Disillusion,_ etc.
This album is regarded as average for them. Of course great. Their disco 1979 album. Somewhat experimental. ABBA only put very good songs on their albums. They havev100 fantastic songs! Never ever a filler which is extremely rare. Every song was always worked on til they got it right. The song ´summer night city´ which is one of my favourites is one Benny and Bjørn never got on tape as they heard it in their heads so that is the one exception. In the end they finally gave up and released it as it is. A rockin` Abba masterpiece. Everybody loves ´summer night city´!

Totally agree. If I'm really honest, this is a track I skip most times. I know I'm in the minority, but I find the vocals a little too shrill and 'sped up' sounding.
